Well said Ian. Good to see Newstalk giving common sense an airing instead of rolling out the ngo brigade

Welcome to the madness of the EU , totalitarian union . It was meant to be a trading bloc. We need to leave it yesterday @OdohertyI64991

Ireland is a dead country as long as this government is in place. They have no love for the country and no loyalty to the people.

Hopefully they all begin to pull out of the country. Banning free speech marks a serious descent into totalitarianism. Why would some of the world’s leading companies want to be a part of this totalitarian EU desperation? It’s a slippery slope that always ends in tears.

Great idea — scare off US tech giants, tank investment, and criminalise opinions... all to impress Brussels. When the jobs vanish, at least we'll have moral superiority and pronoun-approved poverty!

100%

Like the plot to a dystopian movie, New York will now monitor social media writings, collect data, and use law enforcement to crack down on any expression it deems to be hate speech.

It’s not a rock and a hard place - free speech is necessary

The government) EU dictatorship and our media are pushing hate speech laws . No one in Ireland wants it. Our rouge government is out of control

I think its fairly obvious at this point that ireland is no longer a country .. we don't make out own laws , we have no control over our borders . Forign flags flown across the land .. the eu flag outside schools and government buildings is just the same as the hammer and sickle

Free speech. It's simple. Hate speech laws are only designed against the native population so we can't criticize the invasion from the third world...
