Just because your baby’s eyes are open doesn’t necessarily mean they’re awake. And the same holds true in reverse. Weird, right? During active (or REM) sleep it’s not uncommon for your baby to open their eyes for brief periods, to make noises, and to move their body actively. The (open eyes) phenomenon, known as psychological lagophthalmos, is common in newborns and may be attributable in part to immaturity of their central nervous system. The important thing here is not to be too quick to assume your little one has finished sleeping just because their eyes open. This video is a great example. Baby’s eyes are partially open, but he is in the midst active sleep (which comprises half or more of each newborn sleep cycle). Likewise, there are situations where your child may appear to be asleep, but isn’t. Particularly in bright, noisy, or otherwise overstimulating environments your child may feign sleep (when they are feeling overwhelmed) as a sort of defense mechanism. This is called habituation. Infant sleep can be such a tricky thing. Just as soon as you get reaccustomed to resting through the night, all of a sudden your baby reverts to waking multiple times a night. Welcome to the 8 month sleep regression. Interruptions in sleep patterns often coincide with the development of new skills and somewhere around 8 months you’re due for the biggest of them all. That’s because your baby is becoming mobile - and putting all the skills together to roll, crawl, and even pull to a stand in their crib. For infants this is a HUGE breakthrough. Imagine having spent your entire life mostly stationary, with your ability to pursue your own interests - or even adjust your view - subject to the whims of a caregiver. Somewhere between 6-9 months most babies begin discovering a host of new abilities. And let’s face it, some of them are a lot more entertaining than sleep. The good news (at 3am) is that the novelty here is temporary…but there are some important ways you can help your baby to navigate this period safely. Perhaps the most important one is illustrated in this video. And that’s adjusting the height of your child’s crib mattress to its lowest level. With newborns and immobile infants, it’s often convenient to elevate their mattress so they can be placed into and retrieved from the crib more easily. But when your baby begins pulling to a stand it’s critical that you lower their mattress to prevent accidental falls. Babies are top heavy and can easily go tumbling out without such adjustments. You may also find that your baby masters pulling to a stand faster than they master sitting back down - which can create a crib dilemma and a need for assistance. You can navigate through this phase more quickly by providing lots of wakeful practice in both standing and sitting, which may involve gently guiding your little one to bend their legs at the knee - or even placing an appealing toy on the ground near their feet to incentivize sitting back down. As for the sleep regression, it’ll be over before you know it. And while it can be frustrating in the middle of the night, think of it as a breakthrough. What bone broth, aaa steak and a whole lot of nature will do to a mf… On the real tho, your body is incredible, it’s designed with impeccable precision and pure divinity. The human body is the most magnificent organism. When the mind, body and soul is in unison it can regenerate and heal from anything. If I believed in the maya of the medical establishment I would not look like this. I’d be frail, weak, going into the hospital every 8 weeks to take biological immunosuppressant medication intravenously. I was so sick I had a section of my colon removed, at that point I made the conscious decision to take back control of my health, to become the ceo of my life and take my power back in my hands. My biggest mistake was giving all my power away and blindly taking whatever pills they gave me. I decided that was no longer for me. I went seeking for truth. I was mentored by great teachers of health, I studied day in and day out, learned the ancient schools of medicine, I became disciplined, I fasted, I prayed, I reconnected to nature and I came out a healed man. In hindsight I cherish my path, the journey, the trials and tribulations, it made me who I am. The ripple effect of my pain was tremendous, many people will be impacted for better by it. I will continue to give all of you my heart and my soul too. Life is beautiful, your energy is your greatest currency. Feeling vibrant and vital physically, emotionally and spiritually is available to all of us. We weren’t designed to consume the toxins we do yet still our body finds a way to keep us alive. When your vessel is operating at its fullest you emit and aura that is impossible to miss. We are beings of light, each one of your 70 trillion cells creates an electrical output. The healthier those cells are the more radiating your energy will be, and with that all the affluence of the world will be magnetized to you. Start with the basics, prioritize sunlight, drink the purest spring water, sleep well, walk and exercise daily, breathe deep into your body, eat organic whole foods, eliminate everything processed, avoid food that’s been tampered with by man, use herbs as medicines, cut all toxic relationships from your life, take care of the people you love, do a couple fasts ever year, and be grateful for the life God gifted you. Every moment is precious, every moment is a moment we will never get back. Reflect truth when you speak to people, show them compassion, honour and strength, put love above opinion and judgment. Tara Swart, a neuroscientist, spent years studying a discovery that changes how we understand perception: your brain doesn't simply receive reality, it predicts it. Your brain builds a model of what it expects based on past experiences, then compares incoming sensory information to that model. If the information matches, it feels like reality. If it doesn't, the brain often distorts or ignores it. This process is called predictive processing. In other words, you're living through a forecast before you're living through reality. The implication is profound. Your experience of the world isn't the world itself, it's your nervous system's prediction of it. If your brain learned the world is unsafe, you'll constantly notice threats. If it learned you're capable, you'll naturally notice opportunities. The environment may be the same. The prediction is different, so the experience is different. Swart explains this process is driven by the default mode network and the brain's reward-prediction system. If the battery signal comes up while driving, chances are that your alternator has failed, or the alternator belt is damaged, apply the same method and switch off your AC, radio system or anything that may drain the battery while driving till you get to a safe place. If it is a flat tyre, maintain a low speed till you get to a safe place to change and use your spare, keep moving. Yes!!! Damage that tyre till you get to a safe place, just keep moving and make sure you have a spare tyre always and it is in a good condition. If the engine suddenly goes off on top speed, chances are that a fuse is damaged and this is why I will make a thread on how to identify different fuses and how to have them fixed temporarily in case of Emergencies. Blender has Geometry Nodes - a powerful node-based system for creating and manipulating procedural geometry. In other words, it’s math. And math is a universal language. And who do you think is pretty good at math? >>> AI. Now you can download or buy Blender files from marketplaces, and when they contain Geometry Nodes for procedural animations, objects, surfaces, or effects, you can transfer that logic to the web. Make it real-time, make it interactive. Materials are a separate story, of course. They can still suck unless you use the right tricks: PBR, HDRIs, material blending, displacement, and faked surface relief. So why is Blender important here? Universities and High Schools have not moved rapidly enough to guide students to have skills for the next decade. THEY HAVE FAILED. It is a massive crisis that can be averted by understanding what AI and Robotics will bring about. Solutions are knowing how to use these tools and new industries that will rise. But this situation is also on ALL OF US. No “job” is safe from founder to entry level in most industries. You and I, by what we do, will be “replaced” ultimately. What to do? AI and Robotics are tools, the next decade is owned by those who know how to use them expertly, but this is also temporary. We have to understand that what we do for “work” will change giving ultimately a greater value to those that are: Creative Flexible Always learning Willing to be wrong Love being human Love being alive Know history Covet wisdom Knowing all tech has downsides Building strong family and friends Realize many institutions have failed The first four are required for you to be able to live through this period with your sanity intact. The rest will allow you to thrive. There are no true careers at this point anymore. There are advocation and vocations which will either earn you money or give life meaning. We will learn that we are not “what we do”, just like we knew for 99% of human existence. Let that sink in. — You and I are far, far ahead of knowing this and we can do two things: 1) Laugh at the “clueless” 2) Help people understand with grace Go to Reddit if you are 1, in fact don’t follow me because you will not like this next decade and what I post. What you see in airport duty-free shops is the expression of that force, telling you you’re not good enough, not pretty enough, not cool enough unless you buy our products, which are 99 times out of 100 a petrochemical, heavily processed and toxic item. Perfumes - endocrine disrupting and carcinogenic chemicals and synthetic mixes sprayed directly onto sensitive areas of the skin and thus absorbed. Skin Creams / Makeup - petrochemical based products that block optimal function of your skin, affecting hormones and mimicking healthy biology, ironically taking you further away from a healthy attractive look. Sunglasses/Sunscreen - blocking the most natural and healing energy that exists, impacting circadian biology negatively and cutting you off from spiritual forces. It is asking you to hand your money over to make you more unhealthy, take you further away from the natural, god-given appearance and health that is in all of us. Once you establish a baseline of understanding of what serves your health and body, you naturally become repulsed by this entire subset of consumerism. Obviously, great products exist, and I am not against spending money on high-quality things. However, you must instinctively see and feel that these particular mainstream products are obviously bad for us and you would do good to stay away from them.

What’s more is there are only a handful of people that truly understand what is taking place. What is this device? I got this in ~2007 when I discovered that the sound used had the phenomenon I have researched for decades. It is the Bandai Ben 10 Alien Force Ultimate Omnitrix Light & Sound toy. It seems that the show special effect experts in Japan understood this phenomenon and built it into this particular character. I started using this as a demo in ~2007 and some folks were so taken by it over time it became a bit of a social media interest in about 2012. One group of research scientists demanded that I confess this is some sort of trick. 6 hours later they understood it is not a trick. There are elements in the HumanOS that can completely shift your presentation and replication of reality your consciousness believes. Your Reality is but a screen in your mind playing back what your subconscious believes is important. Your awareness is your superpower. Here's a simple explanation of how nnEMFs negatively impact our health (affect anything from fertility, to hormones, to sleep etc) . We (humans) evolved amid natural low-level, unpolarized ELF/geomagnetic fields and electromagnetic frequencies such as 300GHz, 300MHz or even 60Hz that can be found in sources of nnEMFs ranging from your smartphone all the way to radars and satellites. So unlike native EMFs, which occur naturally from the earth’s magnetic field or sunlight for example, nnEMFs have frequencies, intensities and patterns that differ from those our biology evolved to handle. Some key characteristics of nnEMFs include: -They are classified by frequency (measured in hertz (Hz)) -They include extremely low frequency (ELF) fields (such as 50–60 Hz from power lines), radiofrequency (RF) fields (such as 300 kHz–300 GHz, used in mobile phones and Wi-Fi) and microwave frequencies (such as 2.45 GHz in microwaves). -They (nnEMFs) are polarized and pulsed unlike natural EMFs, which are often unpolarized and continuous. Now the seven key biological mechanisms underlying the negative effects of nnEMFs include: -Oxidative stress. nnEMFs, particularly RF fields, can increase reactive oxygen species (ROS) like superoxide or hydroxyl radicals and cause lipid peroxidation in cells, thus alterling antioxidant enzyme levels (such as superoxide dismutase) and damaging cell membranes, proteins and DNA. -Calcium channel dysregulation. nnEMFs, increase intracellular calcium through voltage-gated calcium channels (VGCCs). VGCCs are large protein complexes that “open” in response to electrical signals (they open when the membrane depolarizes (becomes less negative)), in order for calcium ions to enter cells (due to its concentration gradient (higher outside than inside cells)) and nnEMFs act as an external electrical stimulus. VGCCs trigger neurotransmitter release (particularly glutamate), initiate contraction in cardiac and skeletal muscle for example, eegulate hormone secretion, control gene expression, enzyme activity and apoptosis. -DNA damage. nnEMFs, may induce single- and double-strand DNA breaks, directly (through energy transfer) or indirectly (through ROS). -Melatonin suppression. This happens possibly by altering neuronal signaling or mimicking some signals of light exposure but human and animal studies show reduced melatonin levels after RFR exposure, particularly at night. -Increasing blood-brain barrier permeability. This is well documented in animal studies that show increased blood-brain barrier leakage after RFR exposure, but it’s true that human research is limited. Yet based on the 4 previous mechanisms that were just discussed this isn’t unlikely and nnEMFs probably increase permeability of endothelial cells in barriers in humans as well, probably through oxidative stress or calcium-mediated tight junction disruption. -Autonomic nervous system dysregulation. It’s documented that nnEMFs alter sympathetic and parasympathetic activity thus affecting heart rate variability and of course, animal studies show even altered neurotransmitter levels. -Disruption of cellular electrical balance. Our cells maintain a negative membrane potential (resting potential) and nnEMFs interfere with ion channels altering membrane potential and disrupting processes like nerve signaling, muscle contraction or enzyme function. Then of course there are other ones such as heat shock protein induction for example (cell culture studies show increased HSP expression after EMF exposure, even at non-thermal levels). Now here are some practical suggestions that will help you navigate our nnEMF word better and won’t turn you into a lunatic. Number 1: Limit your exposure to them / distance yourself form them. Without this the rest of the tips won’t really help. But you don’t have to turn into a lunatic while implementing this. Leave devices you’re not using in other rooms, have your phone on airplone mode when you’re not using it/need it, ditch your air pods, close the wifi at night (big one)/when you’re not using it, spend more time in nature instead of watching netflix, don’t be on your phone for no reason, use ethernet cables and so on. Number 2: Go and ground. We carry a constant flow of electrical charge which we week to discharge and if we never do this and thus never restore and maintain the body’s natural electrical state, disease will inevitably happen. The surface of the earth, possesses a limitless and continuously renewed supply of free or mobile electrons as a consequence of a global atmospheric electric circuit. A friend of mine just recently got his first gun, a striker fired Glock 19. He is terrified to leave a round chambered. To anyone reading this who has this same fear, I want to alleviate your concerns. I'm going to explain why there is nothing to be afraid of. First and foremost, I fully understand your concern. It's not irrational. And you're not stupid for being nervous about a bullet being aimed at your leg with the striker cocked back under spring tension about an 1/8 of an inch from the primer. I get it. I shared this concern when I was new to carrying. But your fear is due to a lack of understanding of the internal safety features of a modern striker fired handgun. On a properly maintained modern striker fired pistol the striker CANNOT hit the primer on the chambered round without the trigger being pulled. Can't. Not shouldn't. Can't. (If you have any good Sig P320 jokes, this is the proper place to share them) There is a block that the striker will hit and stop if it is released without the trigger being depressed. It works just like a lock and key. There is a channel in the blocker that the striker can pass through if it is in the fire position. It only goes into the fire position if the trigger is pulled which pushes the blocker into the fire position. A spring keeps the blocker firmly in the block position until then. The blocker is a solid piece of steel that won't break. And if your gun is securely in a hard sided Kydex holster nothing can move the trigger unless it is unholstered. Many guns like Glocks have a trigger safety that prevents the trigger from moving due to force of dropping. Your finger has to be on the trigger safety to move it. So the gun cannot fire unless you pull the trigger. And it's easy for you to test this safety feature to see how it works! See the video below. You can try to push the striker forward by moving that piece at the back of the slide forward. That piece is the back of the striker. Push it forward and it will stop. The tip won't come out through the breach. You see it trying to come through but it gets stuck. Now push that little button in. That is the actual blocker. When you push it in you will now be able to move the striker forward through the breach and see how it will strike the primer. You can test this easily every time you disassemble your pistol to verify it is still working. You can break this safety feature by removing the blocker or losing the spring. The ability to take a holiday without feeling like you are committing career suicide. The basic decency of labor protections that assume you are a person first and a resource second. And then there is the part people underestimate until they live it: the texture of life. The cities are older and more beautiful than you expect. The distances are smaller. Weekends are real.
