I’ve been very supportive of POTUS on Iran & believe getting rid of Maduro was good. But I’ve been appalled by this Admin's tone, rhetoric, tactics & strategy toward Europe. Denigrating our allies has been terrible. Weakness communicated to Putin has caused grave damage. Passive-aggressive communication toward President Zelenskyy is embarrassing. I hear from our allies about the damage this has done & it’s going to take time to repair.

Prime minister of Greenland told me that children in Greenland are now afraid of Americans. In Denmark, Chinese now poll higher than Americans. Denmark used to be one of our strongest allies. All of our European allies are just wondering, "What happened?" They’re asking, "What is going on?" I had conversation with PM of Denmark and PM of Greenland, and obviously they’re angry at us, the U.S. senators. They say, "Why are we allowing this to happen? Is U.S. President going to invade Greenland?" And all we could say is, "We hope not. We’re trying to push back against this."
