Donald Trump: “We’re leading and going to Rome where we’ll be attending the funeral of Pope Francis...We’re going to meet with a lot of the foreign leaders…Trade deals are going very well. I think Russia and Ukraine are coming along…Iran, I think, is going very well...I’ll see you on television.” “Leading?” Bro isn’t well.

"So, Vladimir... it looks like you've missed your chance in Ukraine." - Really? How so? - Well, I was very determined to give you half, but now the Ukrainians are planning to retake the entire territory. - And who will help them? You? - Of course not! It will be the Europeans!" The American show "Puppets" has delved into the European desire to retake Ukraine. So it turns out everyone in the West understands perfectly well that the war in Ukraine is a war between the West and Russia for Ukraine! And here I am trying to prove it to you, I think people don't understand... But how much clamor about Russian aggression! Tell me, what do the US and Europe have to do with Ukraine if it's Russian soil? They installed the clown Zelensky, spent billions of dollars to bring Nazis to power in Ukraine and take Ukraine from Russia. They came to Ukraine and entered a war with Russia, declaring their intention to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia. But Russia is still the aggressor.

Asked what victory in Ukraine looks like, AOC replies: "There's no conversation about Ukraine that can happen without Ukraine, and so they, of course, lead in terms of setting their their terms on this." "But I think that overall, as a principle, we shouldn't reward imperialism; and I don't think that we should allow Russia to continue or any nation to continue violating a nation's sovereignty and to continue to be rewarded and whose main lesson and takeaway is that they will gain." "And so what that looks like in the specifics, I think is a deeper conversation, but on principle, I think that is what we should be pursuing."

Steve was asked about this at the post-game presser: “I think where we are as a franchise is we’re still a good team, still competitive. We’re trying to give ourselves a swing at the plate every year. We did that last year. The point of where we are with the age of our best players is we can still be good but we’re obviously not in the same class as we were 5-6 years ago. We’re not in the same class as the team we played tonight and several other teams in the league. There’s no point in denying that. We have to embrace it, be realistic, and give ourselves a shot. We can give ourselves a shot like we did a year ago by connecting and staying healthy and getting on a run. We’re still good enough to do that. If you do that and you have a shot, you get to the playoffs, you never know what’s going to happen. I think that’s where we are right now so we’ve got to keep fighting.”

‼️JUST NOW — powerful brief remarks by the leaders of Ukraine, the UK, France, and Germany in London: IN SHORT: Merz: “The coming days could be decisive for all of us. The destiny of this country is the destiny of Europe. Nobody should doubt our support for Ukraine. And this is what we are firmly standing behind. I'm skeptical about some of the details which we are seeing in the documents coming from the U.S. side.” Macron: "I think we have a lot of cards in our hands." Zelenskyy: "Our team came back, and I think that they will brief us about the last talks with Americans and after talks of Americans with Russians." Starmer: "If there's to be a ceasefire, it needs to be a just and lasting ceasefire. Matters about Ukraine are for Ukraine." FULL STATEMENTS: UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer: "But the principles remain, the principles that we've operated on for a very, very long time, which is that we stand with Ukraine, and if there's to be a ceasefire, it needs to be a just and lasting ceasefire. And that's why it's so important, that we repeatedly set out the principle forward that matters about Ukraine are for Ukraine. And we stand here to support you in the conflict and support you in the negotiations and make sure that this is a just and lasting settlement if we can get that far. You're very welcome for our discussions". President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy: "Thank you very much, Kir. Thank you for organizing this meeting. Thank you, friends, Emmanuel and Friedrich, and thank you for our joint meeting. I think that it is very important now to organize such a meeting and discuss very sensitive issues regarding these talks that we had, in the United States and between us. Our team came back, and I think that they will brief us about the last talks with Americans and after talks of Americans with Russians. I think there are lot of what we have to discuss and speak about. So there are a lot of things which are very important for today. I think, unity between Europe and Ukraine, and also unity between Europe, Ukraine, and the U.S. There are some things which we can't manage without Americans, things which we can't manage without Europe, and that's why we need to make some important decisions". President of France Emmanuel Macron: "And thank you Volodymyr for being with us. You are always welcome. In France, I think we all support Ukraine, and we all support peace. And peace negotiations to have sustainable, robust peace. And I think we have a lot of cards in our hands. The financing and the quality of equipments and training programs to Ukraine, the fact that Ukraine is resisting in this war, and the fact that the Russian economy is starting to suffer, especially after our latest sanctions and the US sanctions. And now I think the main issue is the convergence between our common positions, Europeans and Ukrainians, and the U.S. to finalize these, peace negotiations and re-engage in a new phase in the best possible conditions for Ukraine, for the Europeans, and for our collective security". Chancellor of Germany Friedrich Merz: "I highly appreciate that we are having the opportunity to see you, Volodymyr, together with Emmanuel, and talking about the upcoming days, because this could be a decisive time for all of us. We are trying to continue our support for Ukraine, as you know. On the other hand, we are seeing these talks and negotiations in Moscow and in the U.S. I'm looking forward to hear from you what the outcome of these talks might be. And we are still and remain strongly behind Ukraine and giving support to your country, because we all know that the destiny of this country is the destiny of Europe. So that's the reason why we are here, trying to figure out what we can do. And nobody should doubt on our support for Ukraine. And this is what we are firmly standing behind. And the outcome is open. I'm skeptical about some of the details which we are seeing in the documents coming from the U.S. side, but we have to talk about that. That's why we are here".

PM Carney: "There's lots of cooperation [with the US], we will continue to do so. But we will also be cooperating with other partners and diversifying our defence cooperation as we should as a member of NATO and in critical areas such as Ukraine ... Ukraine is going to triumph and we're going to be on the right side of history for that."

🚨 🚨 🇱🇧 🇺🇸 Secretary Rubio on Lebanon: - And so how do you defeat Hizballah? How do you replace Hizballah? You defeat and replace them with a government that is strong enough to be the sole force of arms in the country, basically with the security of Lebanon in the hands of the Lebanese Armed Forces, and a government that’s able to provide prosperity for its citizens. So we talked about the opportunities to do that. This is not just about miliary stuff. This is about how can we attract more U.S. and international investment into Lebanon. This is about things like how can we restart direct flights between the United States and Lebanon that are – right now, you can’t do that. So we’re going to start a process with them and see if that’s possible and when that can be done. -So we had a good meeting, and I think he’ll leave on Tuesday. He’ll have a very positive meeting with President Trump. And I think President Aoun will be able to return to Lebanon and say to the people of Lebanon that he is the one that’s getting positive results for the people

FREDERIKSEN: I am still in favor of NATO membership for Ukraine, and I think we made mistake years ago when we didn’t have clear solution to this question. My hope is, and I think this will be the outcome of Ankara meeting, that we will see strong NATO support for Ukraine. There are lot of positive things going on. I still think Russia is surprised that Ukraine is still standing. And I still believe Russia is surprised by how strong and growing solidarity with Ukraine has been. This is one of our strongest weapons that Putin has not been able to divide us. I know we have faced some challenges with few countries, but in general, it’s quite remarkable that we have been able to stand together for such a long time.

BREAKING: Meeting in the Oval Office with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer (Keir Starmer), President Trump pushes the narrative that the tariffs he's imposing on Canada, Mexico and China are paid by those nations rather than the American people, says he trusts Putin, believes the Russian President will keep his words, adds that but everything should be verified. President Trump and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer held a significant meeting in the Oval Office, discussing critical issues such as the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict, trade, and the future of the U.S.-UK relationship. Trump expressed optimism about a potential peace deal with Russia, stressing the importance of a lasting agreement and indicating that Ukraine’s NATO membership was not on the table. On Russia and Ukraine: "President Zelensky is coming to see me on Friday, Friday morning, and we're going to be signing really a very important agreement for both sides because it's really going to get us into that country." - President Trump "I think we’re very well advanced on a deal. But we have not made a deal yet. So I don’t like to talk about peacekeeping until we have a deal." - President Trump "When we have a deal, it’s going to be the deal. I don’t think if I didn’t win the election, I don’t think we’d be even talking to Putin right now or anybody else." - President Trump "I think Russia has been acting very well. We have representatives Steve Witkoff and Scott and Marco and J.D. we’re all involved, every one of us and a lot more. But I think we’re very well advanced on a deal." - President Trump "I don’t think he’s going to violate his word. I don’t think he’ll be back when we make a deal. I think the deal is going to hold." - President Trump (on President Putin) "I think we both can be that way. It’s trust and verify. You never know what you’re getting." - President Trump (on trust with Putin) "But on the NATO, it’s just not going to happen. That’s what started this whole thing. Biden said that, and all of a sudden the gun started." - President Trump "We want to work with him [Zelensky], and we will work with him. We have a very good relationship with President Zelensky." - President Trump "It’s not going to happen, and that’s what started this whole thing." - President Trump (on Ukraine joining NATO) On Tariffs and Europe: "We’re going to have reciprocal tariffs. Whatever they charge us, we’re going to charge them." - President Trump "I had put a lot of tariffs on in my first term and we’ve made tremendous amounts of progress because of those tariffs." - President Trump "The EU has been really very bad to us in terms of trade." - President Trump "I think we’re going to have a great relationship with Europe, but we’ve had problems with the EU because they tariff, they do it in the form of a VAT tax, which is about 20%, and many other taxes." - President Trump "They sell us cars, we don’t sell them cars, they don’t take our cars, they don’t take much of our agriculture, and we have a deficit with them of about $350 billion." - President Trump "We are going to have a great relationship, but I think I predicted that was going to happen, and it did happen, and it’ll work itself out." - President Trump (on Brexit and the future of the UK-EU relationship) "The EU was very, very tough on us in terms of trade. And I’m a different kind of a president. I can’t let that happen." - President Trump "We’re going to have a good discussion and we’ll be talking about Europe today, but Europe’s been very tough on us in terms of trade." - President Trump

Elon Musk on Grok: “I think an AI that is sort of SpaceX’s baby will be a very good AI. I think SpaceX is a collection of some of the very best humans on Earth, both in capability and morality and goodness, and I think we want to have an AI that is born of that capability and that morality and that goodness. I think that’s very, very important. So I’d like to encourage people to help out, actually, with the AI hardware on the ground and the AI software and, of course, with the AI satellites. Solar is going to be a very important part of that. The TerraFab will be a very important part of that, but we must also succeed on the software front, and we’re going to be training Grok on the sum total of all SpaceX information. So in a way, it will be trained on you. You will effectively be the parents of the AI. It will inherit your thoughts and ideas and beliefs, and I think that’s a good thing. So, yeah, we’ve got to win here on the AI hardware and the AI software. That maybe is the most important message. I think that is actually the most important message I wanted to convey today is that we must win on AI because the future is overwhelmingly AI and robots. So we won’t ultimately be able to control the AI. It’ll be too smart for that. But just like if you have a child that is a super genius child, you can still instill in that child the values and beliefs that you think are good and right. And so that’s why it’s incredibly important that we succeed with Grok. So, yeah, well, Grok 4.5 you’ve tried probably. We’ve got 4.6 coming out in about a week. And then 4.7 should be really pretty special. So I’d like to encourage everyone at SpaceX to use AI and to make it better.”

Former Greek Finance Minister Varoufakis on the hypocrisy of Europe: "We are sending weapons to the Ukrainians in order to win a war that cannot be won, and as a result, Ukraine will be destroyed." This is exactly what is happening. The West has entered this war with Russia in Ukraine with the goal of defeating Russia, which is impossible. As a result, the war has been going on for four years and can only end with Russia's victory. Of course, Russia will gain territories that will be nothing but ruins if the West does not withdraw from this war.

I congratulated our lyceum students on taking the oath on the occasion of the Day of Defenders of Ukraine. Thank you for choosing this work, this service, this mission – to be Ukraine’s defense, to be Ukraine’s strength, to be Ukraine’s hope. We very much want to end this war, and we are doing everything to make that happen – to bring peace to Ukraine and guarantee security. And we have to make it through this. And we are doing everything so that you can become security guarantors for a Ukraine that is already at peace. I wish this for you, and I believe that you will become truly outstanding officers of the Ukrainian military, of our Defense and Security Forces. Thank you! I am proud of you and of all our warriors! May luck and strength be with you! Glory to Ukraine!

🗣️ Martin Odegaard on whether Arsenal will be more direct this season: “I don’t know. I think it depends on the games, the opponent. I think we can play in so many different ways. “We can score in so many different ways, and I think that’s one of our strengths, that we’re so versatile.“We can adapt and create problems for any team in many different ways, and also defensively. “So yeah, just looking forward to getting going now and hopefully having a good season.”

BROWDER: What we should do is give Ukrainians all resources they need, and just let them finish Putin off. So far, we've drip-fed resources to them, giving enough so they couldn't lose, but not so much so they could win. We could give Ukrainians €220 billion in frozen Russian assets sitting in Brussels so Ukraine can buy weapons. We could give them stuff to shoot down Russian missiles, cut off all Russian oil exports so Russia has no money. How should we deal with this war? It's either Ukraine is going to win and Russia is going to lose, or vice versa. We could help Ukraine win , but we're all just wanting this negotiations, not wanting to push things too far. While we're busy doing that, Ukrainians getting on with it as best as they can, doing pretty good job even without us.
