I was just in the Strip District checking in with Heavy Equipment and the Fourth Division. The snow is still coming down quickly. We’re already at a few inches with more to come. Our crews are working hard. Just remember, as more snow falls, a road may become covered again.

JUST IN | Flames Tear Through Church Heavy flames are tearing through a church as firefighters battle the blaze with multiple hose lines. A third alarm has been transmitted, bringing additional crews and resources to the scene as smoke and flames continue to pour from the building. Firefighters are actively working to prevent the fire from spreading and are investigating reports that embers may be reaching a nearby roof. A state of emergency was declared to get more equipment on the roads, transit has been suspended for safety, and mutual aid power crews are already staged and responding. Road crews, troopers, and utility workers are working around the clock as impacts continue. Stay safe, New Jersey!

A child and his family members were rescued from the rubble of a building that collapsed during the deadly back-to-back earthquakes that shook Venezuela on Wednesday. Crews worked through the night to push through heavy cement and get the survivors out. As of Saturday, the death toll has risen to 1,430, and another 3,238 people are injured, local officials said.
