This blew my mind when I moved to the US. I was like an uncontacted Amazonian tribesman. For a full month I offered it sacrifices. It ate it all. Whole onions. Eggs. (Beef) hearts. It was then that I knew I’d moved to the right country

Why not just put it in the garbage or compost?

Cause I can put it down the drain.

Fun fact: there’s a neighbourhood somewhere in the Netherlands where everyone has a drain like that and they’re expected to put all their green waste in there. The systems are connected to a small local power plant that works on the biowaste.

Many cities here recommend the same so they can sieve and compost.
