Useful knots you should know

I recently took up knot tying in order to keep my mind and hands active. It was just something else I wanted to do in retirement. I'm going to teach my grandsons as well!

It's hard to just "know" knots. You have to learn them, then you have to keep practicing them a bunch, or you'll forget them. You can get by with a taut-line hitch, a bowline, and a truckers hitch. Those will pretty much get you by.
