The dad was right. He was a bloody jobsworth. Who in their right mind leaves a young woman alone. Ive given countless free lifts to females on their own or who have lost their mates. @GriftReport It's actually the National transport policy to not leave any vulnerable person late at night. The driver should have let her ride even if she didn't have any means to pay. He should have let her board.and she could have scanned the ap once it had loaded.

I’ll be forever grateful to the black cab driver who picked me up some years ago when I was stranded at 3am in an area i didn’t know. He’d finished for the night but understood I was not safe. Needless to say I never did that again. Honestly have never forgotten that, it was a huge relief to get home safely that night.
