I learned a lot from studying the muscles step by step. I still can’t do it out the top of my head. But it helped me understand the arm better. And that helps me to draw the arm better as well. I also like to use these drawings as reference.

Don’t forget to study the back of the arm as well!

And ofcourse the side. You don’t have to remember all the names out the top of your head. But you could write them down when studying, to practice it and being more concious about it.

Rotating the arm. Understanding the bones helps understanding how the arm moves. Don’t forget to look at your own arm as reference.

I mostly draw cartoony. And when I draw my characters I don’t draw every muscle. But I use basic shapes to build it.
