And after thinking about this story it seems counterproductive for an investment why would a slave owner that invested money in the slaves just throw out their product? Because at the time the slaves were a valuable commodity. It makes no damn sense. Zero evidence for it, people don't realize how valuable black African slaves were, in fact, in the early 1700s they were over 200 lbs English Sterling, where as white Irish were 200 lbs cotton. Irish white slaves were nowhere near as valuable.
