Ana Sayfaya Dön

Using his prompt, I asked Claude Opus 5 to recreate Fallout in a single HTML file. It gave me a fully explorable world with unique landmarks, a functional Pip-Boy, characters with dialogue trees, and it’s now working on adding a vault! And the entire file is only 2.3 MB.

The 2.3 MB part is what surprised me most. That's a lot of functionality packed into a single HTML file. How maintainable is the code once you start expanding the world?

That's awesome mate! I really need to put some time aside to create my own games.

opus 5 dropped four days ago and already crushes coding benches for half price

How much did this cost you?

@kwwcb I built it with the Claude Max 20x plan. I'm not sure the exact token use as I've been doing some updates to it since. But it was built without any extra paid credits other than the cost of my regular subscription.

That's awesome! Wonder what you can manage with a meager $20 subscription.

This is where coding models get really interesting. You can go from an idea to something playable without building every system by hand.

I didn’t! I’m working on a new version now I’m hoping to be much better. I’ll probably share that one. If I don’t end up liking it, I’ll post this one eventually.

You can play it for yourself, it's one HTML file. It's 3.1MB now because ended up running a prompt to keep building before uploading. I might have the original 2.3MB somewhere to I have to look. You can download it here:

2.3mb for a whole explorable world with dialogue trees is the kind of number that should break something and doesn't

2.3MB for all that? Tighter packing than most slicer profiles. Let me see how it's built.

2.3 MB para un Fallout funcional con Pip-Boy y arboles de dialogo? Eso es una locura. Me pregunto cuanto tarda en crashear cuando intentas explorar demasiado rapido.
