This is exactly what I have worked out with my Neighbor as I have not ever heard anything on MURS from my location and the no license issue. And I stole it from some guys book🤣.

Just bought your book on Amazon. Been meeting to get into radio more seriously. My daughter just got her ham license and I’m planning to get mine in the next couple of months. Question for you. Lotta shit on sale on Amazon right now for prime day. Of all the prime big deals on Bao fang radios , could you recommend one that would be the best deal? I’m in Northern Virginia, but I got a kid in college in Alabama and another in Illinois and want to maintain back up communications as well as locally here with the other two and my wife
