To all of you pearl clutching about how this could cause an ecological disaster: 1) The mosquito is not a *primary* food source for any species - nor do they serve any vital role ecologically, unlike honey bees or squirrels. The opposite actually. not certain that is a great idea. mosquitoes do have a place in the food chain. eliminating them could have downstream effects that would be catastrophic
