using the "switch" adlib to highlight when he’s gonna change flows, delivery, speed, and punchlines is crazy. forever giving lupe fiasco his flowers for creating a single song with every rap style + lyrical content with this much ease

MANNNN this is a classic. It makes me happy to see someone talking about this in 2025 😂

still word for word! 😭

Deadass same 😂😂😂. I used to love this so much

Next u gotta run this one. Its only right

Off the same mixtape and arguably his most lyrical song right beside Mural

Yeah Lupe is a beast! I remember listening to this on LiveMixtapes back inna day! I downloaded the entire Revenge of the Nerds catalog. Early 2000s ish😅

unbelievable era

What a time to be alive😎

IDK if you heard Failure off the same tape, but you could put that shit in the MoMA. Pure art

And this was him starting out like this the early era and he was LIGHT YEARS ahead of so many others

I use to play this over and over! What a time to be alive and love hip hop🙌🏾

I remember from this era he had a song called “pop pop” that he goes absolutely fuckn crazy on

Lupe has always been him since I first hear him do Kick Push and What It Do

Mixtape Lupe was truly different fr

all them Lupe mixtapes went platinum on my Zune forsure

Jedi Mind Tricks off this mixtape used to have me in a chokehold

Fun fact: Lupe got that from Chamillionaire who had a song called switching styles on his mixtape messiah project that came out 2 years earlier.

This mixtape is not talked about enough. Easily one of his best projects

Anyone who knows switch by Lupe is worth a follow

Mixtape Lu!! A different animal.

This song and the mixtapes are superb. I am glad you posted this. 👑👑👑

Best technical rapper of all time

i was always a 1/15 pt1 guy but yeahhh let’s gooooo that run deserves all the flowers

@LupeFiasco has one of the greatest hip hop mixtape runs of all time and it doesn’t get talked about at all….

Easily top 5

This song made me feel like I opened my third eye as a freshman lol

I revisit this tape a lot

Despite having him in my #2 of the top 3 I havent heard any of this😅Im gonna assume the tapes are just like Chamillionaire's "Mixtape Messiah" run he had? Which was also always impressive to me(Who also happens to be #3 in my top 3😂)

Fuckin incredible 💎✨

One of my favorite mixtape 🔥🔥

Damn I still remember when he performed this live in my city

LEGENDARY LU!!! My fave mixtape song from him

Don’t wanna be that guy but can someone put me on to the song title?

switch!! 🙂‍↕️

Probably could’ve guessed that if I looked at the tracklist 🙃 but thank you!

no worries at all absolutely!

Thank you for this 😭😭😭
