It was a hard watch to see the US midfield get manhandled, it was too easy for Belgium. The defense although bad, can’t play on their heels. I don’t think Pulisic has lived up to the hype, Dest was horrific. The US has talent, just not enough to compete at elite level.

It easily could have been 5-0 at half. Are D was so timid, we just let set up at will, unmarked, and then on top of that we made mental mistake after mental mistake. That being said, it was still an amazing and the boys did great all around

We def reverted to our old ways making silly mistakes. Not clearing the ball from the goal asap really hurt. You’re just begging for the other team to score. I feel bad for Pulisic. We’re always looking for our Messi, Ronaldo, or (enter world class superstar) and we expect the same results. It’s like every NFL fan wanting their QB draftee to be the next Mahomes. If we’re to be elite, we need 2 Pulisics — or 2-3 guys considered among the best at their position just for starters.

We lost in round of 16 to a top 10 European squad. Same as 2022. This is who we are from now. The European players know tactics better than ours. That’s all from me ha

They just crumbled under the pressure and got scared of the uniform they were playing. I somehow think them playing Senegal would have changed their mindset.

Well said dude. Could have lived with 1-2 or 2-3 defeat but this one still really stings. CPs post match interview comments were very soft too. Disappointing to hear from our “best player”.

If you let outside noise affect your mind set this is not the sport for you.. Other countries carry way higher expectations than the US. Much more player scrutiny. US has it easy..
