Jon Rahm on the LIV format: “Yeah, obviously there’s been a bit of a change. There was a lot more about LIV Golf that was attractive to me, right. Yeah, maybe the format was a set back in the past, but at the same time there’s a lot of positives to it as well. And one of the things that a lot of players kept mentioning is you don’t have a wave weather difference, where you can simply get unlucky and you’re out of contention for that tournament. It’s part of the game, I get it, but it’s something you don’t have to deal with anymore. So that part is a very nice aspect. The team is what really made it for me. Being able to be part of a team, represent a team, play for my teammates, with my teammates and against my teammates, is something that to me that has always been very, very special. When you get a victory to share, it’s always better to have a team to share it with. So it’s what was the most attractive part and when we started discussions it gets to a point where even though I’m ambitious, I’m not greedy. So there’s a give and take and the format is something that I can easily overlook, and I’m pretty sure I can learn to enjoy it, I’ll just have to get used to it, but I’m pretty sure I’ll learn to enjoy it. To be honest, the more I started thinking about it, the more I started thinking about my college days that were 3 day tournaments, 54 holes, and everybody warmed up together for the most part. Today marks another year of grace. I’m grateful for the journey, for the family, the fold, real friends, and for our LORD, who seizes upon the reach of one’s faith to supply all we need to be and to do all that He has called us to. I thank Him for all the moments along the way. And somewhere through the years, I’ve learned this: Purpose is not something you chase. It is something you commit to — daily, quietly, faithfully. Every year is a reminder that life is not measured by applause, but by impact. Not by how loud the moment is, but by how deeply it shapes persons, people, and populations. I’m grateful for the journey so far — for the privilege of serving, for the lives I’ve been allowed to walk with, and for the grace to keep showing up. This season reminds me that there is still more to do. More to give. More to build. More to speak. More ground ahead to cover. So today, I give thanks — for life, for love, for purpose, and for the strength to keep going. The LORD Himself be praised.

Seokjin, you can come to us any way u like 🥺 🐹So yesterday, I really wanted to post something right at midnight, but I was not sure how to put it into words. So I just wrote something with a heart full of gratitude. I did. But then, the way I feel is that I always end up writing something that just conveys my gratitude to you all, and ah… I actually wish I could talk to you in a lighter and more casual way, but I feel like I haven’t really been able to, and I find that a bit disappointing/sad. It feels like I always come across too serious (than I meant to be). I want to be lighter and more easygoing with you, not approaching you in a heavy, formal way, but rather in a friendly and casual way. But these days, even when I try something lighthearted, there have been various things going on and with the group activities and everything and so….. So it feels like the sense of closeness has become a bit distant. I’ll try harder to connect with you in a warmer and more approachable way.

I wanted to show you me singing the song ‘Goodbye, My Love’ so I looked over the lyrics a little more, listened to it a lot, practised, and then sang it. But after enlisting and spending time here, I’ve thought more than once, “I’m really glad I sang this song before coming.” I also feel sorry that I couldn’t express more before I came, I worry about whether you’re doing well, and I’m living while making promises to myself for the days ahead. I miss you a lot. Really, really a lot. I’m so thankful, and I miss Czennies so much. I recorded a few more songs here and there before coming in, so whenever they come out, I sincerely hope they’ll be songs that give you strength in some way. Thank you for today too!
