Utterly devastated. EJ has left us. Formula One won’t see the likes of Eddie ever again where a guy with a love for racing can hustle his way into the sport and end up winning races. More important than race wins though, he won hearts. I will never forget...

oh man. Apart from the loss of a true F1 icon, he was a real character too. Not some spineless pc robot that spewed repetitive rhetoric. He was very much in the spirit of F1. These are the types of personalities that are irreplaceable.

U guys on #BBCF1 was some of the best. The opening montages, the access into the Pits. Eddie’s stories of yesteryear were insightful and always interesting to a complex sport!

@mrjakehumphrey fine & fitting words. Thanks for sharing. When someone dies with whom you're close to, I always take myself away for a reminiscing moment in the aftermath to remember the nonsense said person brought into/you shared in life. F1 is a little less colorful today.

Yourself, @therealdcf1 and EJ all together on the same screen - a significant part of my childhood, and felt like a second family at times. Appreciated the reunion on Coulthard’s and EJ’s podcast last year. R.I.P to an absolute legend. 💚💚

Dear Everyone, The last few days have been hell. Losing Kiyo has not been easy and I’m not ok. Kiyo gave me the best time of my life. The level of joy you brought into my word and any space he was able to exist in was incomparable. Kiyo was my lover, my best friend, and my truth. He truly saw me for who I was and I saw him for who he was. I didn’t just love him, I believed in him, prayed for his victory. I cared for him. Who would have thought that bringing back a piece of Tupperware would invite me into the world of the purest, kindest soul in the world. Kiyo would do anything for anyone. He was my hero and I was his. We both kept our capes on for each other whenever we needed to save the other person. I am grateful that I got to experience a love like his. I am grateful I got to spend some of the best moments of my life with him. I am grateful that even I grieve I still feel his warmth and care. Kiyo taught me be more patient and understanding and no matter how we came into this world and no matter how bad the world treated us, it doesn’t give us the right to exact that same unkindness to others. He loves animals, anime, a good meal, Steven Universe, a really inappropriate joke, and you never had to guess how he felt about you. As he was goofy he was charming. I still feel his hands interlocked into mine and he was fearless. He loved like no other man I have met in this world could. The first night we reconnected he gave my cat Patrick the middle name Bayard. He gave me first Christmas full of love and laughs. The first man in my life to actually pay attention to me and surprise me with gifts that he knew I would love and were true to who I was as a nerd. Anytime I could get it, I was with him. He had full access to my home and my heart. To Mike and Rico thank you for always being there for him and caring for him, Mike you coming into town in March really lit him up. First time I got to dance with him. Rico thank you for taking him to there museum. He loved every moment of it. All he could do was rave about how much made his day. To Tony, his wife and his gaming community on Destiny 2, thank you for being patient with my baby and giving him space to be man that he was and to his Dad and his brothers. He loved y’all more than you know. All he wanted was for y’all to be ok. And to all his true friends and loved ones know that he always thought of y’all. I will never say goodbye to Kiyoki-D’Andre Marcel Toliver, I will say see you later because no matter where you are I know you are watching me because what we had was Immortal. As I grieve I will try to give any notice on his memorial service which will be in NYC because his grandmother sent him here to find the best version of himself and I know he truly did. I want to share this video I made months ago because I was so proud of the man I had. I want to share also the last video he took of me before we went to Brooklyn Comic-Con. If there are typos forgive me.

Jumbo passed away peacefully at 1pm yesterday. As always it was a sad moment but I got 22 months with the big guy after I took him in from the streets. I always think the amount of nicknames you have for a dog shows how much you love them. Jumbo, Big Fella, Jumbotron, Jumbalicious, Super Jumbo will be very missed. He had a family but they left him behind during the pandemic. He then ended up on the streets living under a street food stall. His health battles were always ongoing but he was just about the happiest dog I’ve ever come across. He had a bigger social circle than me and used to visit the local restaurants, bars and his beloved 7-11 where he’d pretend he was starving and have people buying him sausages. The staff loved him so much he even patrolled the aisles and hung around the sausage area waiting for tourists. I’ve 1000 memories in my head of the time we spent together. All good ones. Those will never leave me. What I loved about Jumbo is he welcomed Tina and Derek in for their end of life care and helped snoop when he was passing too. All since August. His end came quite quickly and it was his old street life catching up on his kidneys as they failed. I’ve looked over to his spot on the couch for the last 24 hours or waited to hear his little steps coming but they don’t. I’ll miss him very badly and the toll lately has been hard to take but to be honest Jumbo is just one of those dogs that I was lucky enough to meet. Meeting him was one of the highlights of my life 🥰🙏

😔Wow… I didn’t believe it… I received the call this morning that my brother… our brother Malcolm-Jamal Warner has transitioned and I sincerely did not believe it…. It feels like we just spoke yesterday. This one hit me heavily and I couldn’t shake it… There was so much that he was doing and planning to do where the people are concerned. The conversations we had were deeply substantive and he was constantly asking questions to seek greater levels of knowledge and understanding….. We learned a great deal from one another. Shockingly, it was as if we had known each other our entire lives… I admire my brother, for he stood on principles and didn’t follow the crowd. Even as I type this caption right now I still can’t believe it…. We supported one another from a place of: “I want to see my brother win” energy … I told him that I respect his integrity being one of those who survived the hells of Hollywood as a child actor while keeping his sanity and passion for his craft intact…. (Not easy)… The love he has for his family, his wife and his mission…. Spoke volumes and he never wasted words. I love our brother and I pray for his family and those close to him. To the family, If you need anything, I will make myself available to support, know this. May Allah be pleased with the life of a great soldier, a wonderful Black man of love, creativity and vigor. WATCH: Here was how President Trump concluded his eulogy of Lindsey Graham... “I always cherish the memories of our golf games, and only because of his really — and I will say this memorial service — it’s so hard to say a memorial service for Lindsey. It’s hard to say, but I’ll admit that one time Lindsey Graham and Annika Sorenstam actually beat me and Gary Player together. Can you believe that? Annika played very well that day, actually. But right to the end, Lindsey carried in his golf bag the putter that once belonged to his dad and he carried it with him, with class and with a ring that was so beautiful of his mother. And they were laying right at his bedside the night he died. They were there. He had them with him at all times.” “From that pool hall where his parents raised him to the halls of the United States Senate, where he was respected and loved, the son of South Carolina became one of the most important men in the most important country on Earth. In a city where politicians often become jaded and cynical, Lindsey Graham never lost the old-fashioned American idealism that brought him to the highest levels of government and life. He took his duty seriously without taking himself too seriously. He was unwavering in his principles, but always willing to listen. He always wanted to listen, and one thing about Lindsey that we all know, he never quit. You wanted him to quit. You waited for him to quit, but he would never quit.” “Above all, Lindsey Graham loved America and he believed in the American people. If you shared that view, you had a friend in Lindsey. If you didn’t share it, there was no fiercer or more constant opponent. Our nation needs more men and women like that great person sitting, laying wherever he may be. I think I know where he is and I think he’s up there. I think he’s watching us. I’m pretty sure of it.” “Scripture tells us that blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life. For 71 years, Lindsey Graham was strong and steadfast as a brother, a senator, a warrior, and a patriot. He withstood every last test, every single test that you can go through and every trial, and now he wears the crown of life in Heaven, reunited with his parents and reunited with His Lord. I end by saying something very, very special. Lindsey, we love you. God bless you. We will always be with you. And you were very, very special.”

Today, we share the heartbreaking news that Mackenzie Rowles, known to many of you as “Camelworks”, has passed away. Together with his family and friends, we recently held a celebration of his life and gave him a final send-off, with his ashes being scattered across the Australian countryside. I cannot describe the heartache I felt when I was told the news. Mack was my good friend, one of the first people I ever met in the games industry and Bethesda/YouTube community, over 10 years ago. He was the kindest, most welcoming person you could ever have the privilege of knowing. He cared very deeply about those around him - always happy to have a conversation and help you with any problem you were facing, without question. And man, he was just the funniest guy. No matter how you were feeling, he could make you laugh and brighten your day. Camel’s family has asked for all of you to share your fondest memories of him and remember him for the incredible life he lived. He built an amazing community of over 800 thousand people across his YouTube channels, and we would love to hear how he touched your lives. Please also respect their privacy at this difficult time. Finally, I would like to show you this video of Mackenzie, which was made for his family and played at his celebration of life service. Many tears were shed when editing this video, and I hope it does his memory justice. Camel, I cannot help but cry when writing this, but rest in peace my brother. I will spend my days looking for you in Sovngarde and we will share a drink once again. - Jonny “LoneVaultWanderer” Roses

stefan van de graaff, director of “one of us,” on casting kit connor in the lead role: “that's actually really kind of incredible story. so we knew that we wanted to cast around the lead actor, which, in this case, is kit. he plays a character named youngest. we wanted to cast around it first. […] we went to independent, which is the talent agency that kit is repped by in the uk, and originally, we had approached other actors. i had kit on my shortlist as people that i wanted in the film, but when i reviewed his work, i thought he might just be a little bit too young for the role. so we actually went and approached a few other actors first, and we had one booked, but he got really sick and—literally two weeks before we were filming—so we went back to independent and they said, ‘who else are you looking at? is there anybody else that we can put on?’ and i had, again, reviewed kit's work in the past, and i said, ‘talk to me about kit. i love him. i think he's a brilliant actor. i think he has just the right look. i think he's a little young.’ and his agent was just really effusive about saying he's the most mature person you'll ever meet. he carries himself as an adult. yes, he's, you know, i think he was 19 at the time. but that will not come through in his effort and his, you know, his capability. and so i had a phone call with kit, and it was very clear that he punched well above his weight in terms of his age. he's wise beyond his years and was extremely talented and thorough, and so, cast him, and that has ended up being a really, really incredible sequence of events because i absolutely loved working with him, and i don't think the film is the film without him. so it's been very fortunate.” 🔗:

Stirring words from Secretary Rubio: "How do you remember? This is a memorial service to honor him, how do you best remember? I'll take the liberty of saying what we can best do. I think he had a tremendous impact on young Americans in general. I think he had a very special and direct impact on young men in this country, that's one of the greatest of elements I've seen. It's been very positive. I think we remember him for that. I think we remember him for constantly saying you want to live a productive life, get married, start a family, love your country. These are powerful messages. But I hope many who are watching, I imagine there people watching here tonight that didn't know much about Charlie Kirk until 11 days ago. Maybe they were disengaged in politics, may be partially engaged. I hope one of the things that they take from this is the movement that Charlie Kirk led and started and gave few will to was about politics but not only about politics. It was deeper. It was broader and I would say taking the liberty but I am confident he would agree, one of the things he wants us to take away from this, from all of this is to follow Him. His deep belief that we were all created, every single one of us before the beginning of time by the hands of the God of the universe and are powerful god who loved us and created us for the purpose of living with Him in eternity. But then sin entered the world and separated us from Our Creator. God took on the form of a man and came down and lived among us and He suffered like men and He died like a man but on the third day he rose unlike any mortal man. And to prove any doubters wrong, he ate with his disciples so he could see and they touched his wounds. He did not rise as a ghost or spirit but His flesh. And then he rose to the heaven but He promised he would return and He will and when He returns, because He took on the death, because He carried the cross, we were free from the sin that separated us from him. When He returns, there will be a new heaven, and to Earth and we will all be together and we are going to have a great reunion there again with Charlie and all the people that we love."

“There’s more than one giant in Afghanistan.” “The military knows.” Timothy Alberino just blew Joe Rogan’s mind. He revealed that the US military allegedly discovered “giants” in Afghanistan. “This is the most wild story I’ve ever heard in my life.” Bookmark this post. This will shock you: “A couple of years ago … I ran into a gentleman who was very high up in the operations happening out there during the Iraq War and in Afghanistan.” “And I asked him … you were in flying missions in Afghanistan, have you ever heard about the Kandahar Giant?” “The blood rushes out of his face.” “He points to his phone, and his wife whispers: he can’t talk about that.” “Later on, we agreed to meet in a very controlled environment.” “He related a story to me that’s the most wild story I’ve ever heard in my life.” “I can’t relay it. I love this guy, I want to protect him.” “It’s not the giant of Kandahar.” “There’s more than one.” “Aside from him, I talked to other soldiers who’ve also had knowledge of … the giants in Afghanistan.” “I was at Lue Elizondo’s bar in Wyoming, and there was a friend of Lue’s, who’s now a friend of mine there, and we were talking about the Kandahar Giant.” “He just couldn’t believe it.” “He thought: this is nuts.” “And I said: do something for me, next time you’re talking to somebody in government or in the military who you think maybe might know something about this, bring it up, see what happens.” “So he called me one day, and he said: Tim, you’re not gonna believe it … I was talking to a certain individual who works for a senator … he’s got a military background, Special Forces.” “In the midst of this conversation, he said: what do you know about the Kandahar Giant?” “And he said his face completely contorted.” “He became very stern.” “He said: what have you gotten yourself into? … You need to be really careful.” “That’s the kind of reaction that I get and others get whenever we try and get information on this story.” Timothy Alberino Joe Rogan
