I’m old enough to remember being rushed to the ER when I was around 5 or 6 because my parents thought I had polio. Fortunately I didn’t. But I had measles 2x, mumps, and chickenpox. Not fun. Thankful my kids and grandkids were able to be vaccinated and avoid them.

This questioning of vaccines was not a thing until trump and his band of uneducated cult members came along. Who pays the price for not getting vaccinated?? THE KIDS!!! Not the parents because they most likely had their shots as children. 🤨

The entire past trump administration with few exceptions reminded me of this cartoon Imagine the deranged clowns on amphetamines we’re going to experience overseeing every department & sphere of federal government if heaven forbid he’s back in the Oval

I'm just finding out why I had 3 spinal taps as a small child (3 yrs old). I wish the vaccine had been available in my youth. I'm still terrified of needles many, many decades later.

Polio vaccine was a shot, my first one and I swore my last, I was five. Parents took me to meet a kid in an ‘iron lung’, I left there begging for the booster shot. When I got the booster it was the sugar cube method. But I still today remember that ‘iron lung’.

It’s a wonderful message. That being said, anti-vaxxers have developed strong (un)natural immunity to logic, deductive reasoning, & trust in science. Therefore, we need sensible legislation regarding PHEs to minimize/contain their propagated harm.
