@ChrisRose “That’s correct nerd boy” ☠️🤣

@ChrisRose Absolutely right. A lot of cowardice out of the Milwaukee and Tampa front offices

@ChrisRose Yeah maybe if you have read none of the deep dives or scoops into how the Tigers conducted the trade of Skubal. Rose is passionate but he's misplaced his anger.

The Brewers were expected grossly overpay relative to what the Dodgers paid. Fuck off with this bullshit. You’re probably an AWFUL negotiator because you don’t understand walk away points, leverage, and BATNA. The Brewers didn’t succumb to this trade narrative (which guarantees nothing by the way) and they should be applauded for that.

@ChrisRose Brewers made better offer, Tampa wasn't even allowed to make an offer Tigers said not interested in their prospects. Tigers take Dodgers first offer with 2 days to go to the deadline. Tigers were only going to deal him to the Dodgers.

@ChrisRose The Tigers called the dodgers about a deal. The tigers clearly had no intention to let skubal go anywhere else but LA. If you don’t think the Brewers tried hard to get skubal, you’re wrong.

@ChrisRose The Brewers would’ve probably traded for him if there was some sort of cap/apron system in place. Just saying.

@ChrisRose Wouldn’t have been as fun to play catch with you if you had no arms or head, but if it got us a title, ok

@ChrisRose This is just dumb. He’s speaking from a fan’s perspective which is fine but not relevant to the argument at hand. The reason an org like the dodgers takes these risks is because they can afford to (literally and figuratively). Brewers don’t have the luxury of operating at a loss

If you are good at drafting and developing - you will have a steady flow of talent. Outside of generational talent - most prospects are tradable for the right price. Hoarding picks on teams that don't historically retain talent isn't a fear of losing picks. It's a fear of spending money. Plain and simple.

@ChrisRose Big Chris Rose fan, always have been. But if you truly believe that Skubal could have gone anywhere but LA, you’re being intentionally dense. Dodgers package was weaker than this. Should the Brewers have to pay 2-3X what the dodgers do in prospect capital? Hell no.

@ChrisRose I can't get passed Jake dressed like he thinks important people dress.

@ChrisRose Tell em Chris!! That’s passion.. love it … need to see more of it

@ChrisRose Do these dumb fucks know the tigers have to agree to the trade with the brewers????

@ChrisRose No he’s right and the problem is that they can’t give up that high caliber for 2 months bc they can’t just buy and replace like the dodgers that’s the problem

@ChrisRose Brewers weren’t giving up Logan Henderson for two months of Skubal. Doesn’t even sound like the Tigers shopped him much.

@ChrisRose Valid crashout on an invalid target. Detroits asking price for the dodgers was peanuts compared to what the brewers would have had to give up. And the brewers don’t have infinite money to replace prospects with FAs.

@ChrisRose Refusing to talk about the real issue. It’s not that the Dodgers got him, it’s not that the brewers and the rays didn’t trade for him. It’s the fact the dodgers have 1 BILLION DOLLARS of deferred money that allows them to keep acquiring the literal top free agent every year.

@ChrisRose Rosie is right, all these orgs are run by scared pussies and they are the same ones that cry wolf about the Dodgers, sad message being sent by those orgs

@ChrisRose Brewers had the best offer on the table. Detroit was insistent on funneling Skubal to LA because that was his preferred destination because he knew they’d give him a huge payday before a potential cap and that was the only way they could sign him before a potential cap.

@ChrisRose That's correct, Nerd Boy

@ChrisRose Chris you’re vastly underrating what happens if the Brewers or Rays go all in and lose and then are terrible for 5+ years. It could literally mean the franchises are relocated. We cannot afford even 10% declines in revenues or we’ll be in Nashville by 2030.

@ChrisRose @ChrisRose why aren't you an MLB GM? Id LIVE to see your putrid attempt at putting together a team. Skubal is fresh off an injury, theres no way we're trading a top 100 prospect in the spirt for him. ESPECIALLY when both of those teams have good pitching already

@ChrisRose You know what's complete bullshit? That the Dodgers offer was better than the Brewers offer. Complete and total. The Brewers aren't the problem you clown

@ChrisRose The rays current best player was a prospect they developed… even did offer him for the Angels for Ohtani many years ago, so yes they do actually need their own prospects what a fucking moronic statement

@ChrisRose since we want to take singular anecdotes as evidence, has it worked out for the rays that Junior for 2 months of Ohtani didn’t go through? trading someone like Gillen AND Flewelling AND Forrett for two months of Skubal and not winning the world series sets the franchise back…

@ChrisRose Nice way to just shit on the Brewers 😂😂😂😂

@ChrisRose No it’s not because we didn’t have a chance because Detroit went straight to LA so you tell me what we’re supposed to do if Detroit doesn’t listen to our offer which was BETTER THAN THE DOGERS LIKE F OFF MAN

@ChrisRose Says "lets look back at 2017" acknowledges the difference and then proceeds to not care about the differences. The brewers mortgaged the future in 2011 for Greinke and they lost and the players they traded helped the royals win a world series.

@ChrisRose This is the dumbest fucking take in the world. Oh yeah, trade the farm for a 2 month rental, be a 100+ loss team the next year and get fired. Real fucking smart GM work that would be.

@ChrisRose Kind of hard for the brewers to trade for Skubal when the tigers refused to hear any offers from any other team. It was always the Dodgers.

@ChrisRose that's correct nerd boy will be my vocal stim for a while. thanks

@ChrisRose Tigers were only negotiating with the Dodgers

@ChrisRose This is disingenuous or uninformed. The Brewers are not a free agent destination. They rely on their farm to produce their future in a way that the Dodgers just don’t need to do. An identical prospect has much more value in the Brewers system compared to the Dodgers

@ChrisRose I need yall to post the snippet of criticizing Nick Krall and the Reds front office so I can repost it and really stick it to em 😆😩
