This is such a lazy stereotype. British cuisine is superior to, like, 80% of others worldwide. I'd put a well-made Sunday roast up against almost any other dish on earth for flavour. And, frankly, we are unsurpassed for desserts. This is a view stuck in 1950s post-war rationing.
