Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust (2000)

I love how D doesn't waste moves. You get a better sense of this if you watch the whole movie. But despite fighting many opponents, D makes relatively few slashes. Each one aims to kill. So when you see an enemy narrowly dodging you feel how close to death they are.

when i say "the animation in one piece sucks" this is what i mean stark contrast

Ce genre d'animation chaleureuse ne se fait plus aujourd'hui
