VANCE: “I've also been extremely open about the fact that I was wrong about Donald Trump. I was wrong first of all because I believed some of the media stories that turned out to be dishonest fabrications of his record.”

I know a lot of republicans that didn't like Trump at first. You can't deny Trumps results! He won so many of us over!

The media lied about Trump to control the narrative. It’s refreshing to see someone stand up and call out the BS

Best response to that question! Vance’s answer hopefully enlightens & hits home to those who still get their fake news from MSM.

BREAKING: CBS Moderators just tried to get a "gotcha" by bringing up JD Vance's past comments on Trump and he NAILED IT "I was wrong, first of all, because I believed some of the media stories that turned out to be dishonest fabrications of his record." THAT WAS A LITERAL PERFECT RESPONSE.

Vice President Vance masterfully navigates Sarah Haines’ attempt at claiming that he is excusing Trump’s behavior for power. Haines brought up a past quote from Vance comparing Trump to Hitler, but as Vance pointed out, he was spoon fed propaganda about Trump by the media that was not true. HAINES: “And you also explain your evolution, similarly, on Trump. From calling him America’s Hitler to America’s best hope...” “What are you willing to excuse in the name of power?”’ VANCE: “I would say fundamentally that one of the things I under appreciated about Donald Trump is that many of the things people said about him weren’t actually true.” “Again, you talk about humility. I see Donald Trump, I see a clip of him or not even a clip of him but reporting about something that he said and take it at face value.” “For example, let’s just go back to one of the most controversial things Donald Trump said during the first term said that I was wrong, during the first campaign, is that I was led to believe by the stories...that said Donald Trump said all Mexicans were rapists.” “He never said that.” “What he said is that the...certain South American countries, central American countries, were releasing criminals into our country, including Mexico.” “By the way, that was objectively true.”

🚨 JD Vance calmly DERAILS The View’s gotcha question over his support for President Trump VANCE: "I was a critic of Trump in 2015 and 2016. Now I'm the VP of the US in the Trump admin." JOY BEHAR: "Yeah, what happened?" VANCE: "Well, Joy, a little HUMILITY. When you make predictions and those predictions turn out to be false, you got to ask yourself, well, what made me wrong about that? What did I not understand or not appreciate?" "For example, I said that Donald Trump's economic policies would not lead to wage growth. They did in the first term. That was actually a major, major thing!" 🔥 "I said that we couldn't bring back any of those factory jobs because I kind of had given into this idea that those jobs were disappearing, but actually Donald Trump, you saw a manufacturing boom during that administration!" "So there's a certain point where you say, you know, I made predictions about this. I ended up being wrong. And in politics and anything, I think it's important to just say, you know what, I got some things wrong and I was wrong about him."

One thing i absolutely love about watching Roger Federer is the fact that whenever i replay matches of his, I find points that might not look like anything out of the ordinary.. and i turn out to be wrong every time. Just. Look. At. That. Slice.

Former Trump supporter Steve Vilchez: It’s okay to admit that you’re wrong. I looked up to Donald Trump, and I refused to admit that he was wrong. When I first started to admit that he could be wrong, I felt like I was starting to free myself. No matter how much someone says they’re going to be perfect, they’re not—they’re going to make mistakes. My mistake was believing that Donald Trump was perfect. Once I realized that mistake, it began a long but worthwhile process of leaving MAGA

Ana Navarro melts down after Vance explains why his view of Trump changed over the years, including falling for the media's lies: JD Vance: "It's been well covered that I was a critic of Donald Trump back in 2015 and 2016..." Joy Behar: "What happened?" Vance: "A litte humility." "So many things that people said about [Trump] weren't actually true." "I was led to believe by stories, I read stories that said 'Donald Trump said that all Mexicans were rapists.' He NEVER said that. What he said is that certain South American countries/central American countries were releasing criminals into our country, including Mexico. By the way, that was OBJECTIVELY TRUE."

The media has made a big deal out of my recent comments on CNN comparing Biden and Trump, but once again they got it wrong. I didn't say that I definitively believe Biden is more dangerous for democracy than Trump. What I said was that, the case could be made that Biden's attack on the First Amendment was the worst thing either president did for our democracy, because all of our other rights depend on freedom of speech. Thanks, Christopher C. Cuomo and NewsNation for the chance to set the record straight

Gov. Gavin Newsom: Joe Biden won the debate. I was taking notes about all of the lies Trump told and I ran out of paper. Trump was talking down our democracy. That was alarming. For me, it was daylight and darkness. I am proud of President Biden's record and his vision for the future

When I realized I was wrong about Trump, I cried for a week. It was a hard pill of humility to swallow. Most people can't do that because it wasn't easy. Realizing I was wrong meant that I was cruel and evil to Trump for years! I still feel guilty that I was so stupid and was like that. I don't even watch TV so it was all second hand propaganda! It was 2020 when I realized I was wrong. It was a weight of hate lifted from my soul but I still feel awful how I used to think. That's why people have a hard time realizing that Trump is good. It takes a lot of humility! Humility is what is missing in modern humans the most!

.Vice President JD Vance: I've heard a couple of things. One, that I was kept out of the planning for the Venezuela operation—that's false. And another, that DNI Tulsi Gabbard was kept out...that's completely false...I'm going to be as involved as President Donald J. Trump wants me to be. So far, that's been very involved.
