Vance reportedly admitted that mistakes have been made with DOGE cuts, but that mistakes are ok as long as they work to quickly correct them. Vance also said that not all federal workers are bad, but some are just collecting a check. Are mistakes OK as long as they... show more

Government waste isn't theoretical—it's measurable. DOGE's rapid review exposed $115B in questionable spending across 7,500 grants, 5,350 contracts, and 800 facility leases. That's real money that could fund essential services. Critics focus on a 0.06% error rate while ignoring $37B in identified waste—$20B in duplicative DEI programs and $17B in unaccounted foreign aid transfers. The math is clear. Every hour spent debating process costs taxpayers $4M in continued inefficient spending. Verification continues alongside reforms, but the waste stops now. When bureaucrats talk about "careful review," they mean preserving a system that burns through billions. Real accountability means tracking every dollar and cutting what doesn't deliver value.

Do you think its weird that while the Dem Congressmen are attacking DOGE for having the access to data to find govt waste, they arent attacking any of the wasteful programs DOGE has actually uncovered?

Better to make a few mistakes and learn from them than to look the other way and pretend everything is fine like Biden/Harris did!

He is true leader! Only a true leader will own their mistakes and fix them quickly. We will NEVER see this from a democrat. Thank you @VP

who doesnt make mistakes? no ones done this before so there is a learning curve. A five point bullet list of daily or weekly accomplishments isnt a burden to ask for.

Mistakes are a part of learning what works and does not work -in the walk of life, I have made many, but from those mistakes I course corrected to become something better.... so in my experience in living, yes mistakes are good as long as they are corrected....

Its been that way at every company I've ever worked at. When layoffs occurred, they got rid of a few people that I thought were good (and often I've seen some get hired back on different teams). Cant be 100% accurate all the time. Nobody rides for free.

Mistakes happen everywhere. Elon also said that they’re not perfect. Why is that surprising?

Nothing wrong with what Vance said.

The media is the enemy

Fail fast. Two years until there is a new congress. The time will be gone before you know it.
