Vancouver is plugging in with battery-electric buses that charge in five minutes. Each bus is expected to cut 100 tonnes of emissions and save $40,000 in fuel costs. We have the solutions, implement them. #ActOnClimate #ClimateAction #ClimateCrisis #climate #GreenNewDeal

You forgot how many times of emissions there are mining the lithium. Also forgot the child labor.

Sigh: too much "too good to be true" propaganda. Why is the infrastructure to support this, from mining to manufacture to the recycling nightmare, not mentioned?

Lithium mining, short battery life then to the landfill plus more prone to starting on fire. Takes 5X the water to put them out then they re-ignite themselves, talked to firefighters who've dealt with this and wear out tires quicker (Danish study).

Cool! Just one query though, what about the slave labour that goes into mining cobalt for your utopian dream? Or don’t we talk about these uncomfortable issues?

5 minutes my arse ,have you factored in the cost in diesel, water ,transport costs of getting the raw materials out of the ground ,the enormous cost of ENERGY to fuse these elements together to make the batteries, plus all the child labour ,no didn't think so

Each electric bus cost more Environmentally than they save in pollution emissions. It’s all a scam.
