We had a brave little poppet in the park today - new girl Suzi 🐶😍 Her siblings passed away from parvo but she has been living with other dogs and learned how to commincate from them. She was a little nervous and politely asked Pancho and Tucker to give her space. But then the treats came out and she decided to be brave. Suzi already has a home lined up from our waiting list - a lovely family who have been patiently waiting for a rescue rather than buying from a breeder. They will be getting a little bundle of love and sweetness. And Suzi’s life has transformed forever 💜

You know what... This might be a little bit of a doxx but I don't care. My doggo made me so damn proud today. A druggy decided to hop the fence to my backyard. And I told him to get off my property. He decided to try to argue with me for about a minute and not do anything. This good girl was right next to me the whole time. Let out a couple of barks but other than that, nothing. Then I told her to go get him and she went without question. She needed just a tiny bit of reassurance but once given then she made sure to protect our house and family. I couldn't be a more proud dog dad than I am today.

She chased their car for miles, hoping they would stop and take her back home. In the end, she collapsed from exhaustion 💔 When the rescue team found Polly, she was sitting all alone at a bus stop. They thought her puppies might still be somewhere nearby, so they searched the entire area. But they couldn't find a single one. Then Polly wrapped her paws tightly around her rescuer and refused to let go. That heartbreaking moment brought everyone to tears. But now Polly is finally safe and has found the love and happiness she always deserved. ❤️🏡

It was a nice change having our vet call ME on the weekend for once - this time looking for someone to take on an orphaned foal whose dam sadly passed and her nurse mare had rejected her. There are a lot of people behind this little filly’s story. Her breeder made the hard call to give her a chance instead of euthanizing. And the nurse mare’s amazing owners poured themselves into trying to save her, all while grieving the loss of their own foals. At a certain point, they knew they were exhausted and didn’t have the ideal setup or time to give her what she needs, and selflessly chose what was best for her, not what was easiest for them. They didn’t hand her off lightly, and they wouldnt’t hand her to just anyone - which makes their trust mean that much more. Between two bottle calves and a bottle lamb, we figured… what’s one more? Trifecta achieved. This sweet little Appendix filly is settling in well. She’s going to take a lot of time and work, but we’re grateful for the opportunity to give her a place where she can grow, thrive, and just be a horse. This woman is going through a rough patch, to make ends meet she decided to go to the food bank. While unloading their bags of food that they were given, she makes snide remarks about how she’s a vegetarian and doesn’t like how they have her meat. In fact she complained the whole time about how they gave her food she normally wouldn’t get for herself and complained about why she didn’t get fresh fruit or vegetables. Someone needs to remind her that this isn’t a grocery store, they give you what they can so that you aren’t hungry. Should they have taken in consideration that she’s a vegetarian or is she just being ungrateful?

if you notice, fina is annoyed in this scene precisely because marta doesn't want to stay. not because she is there. she asks marta to stay and have a drink with her and claudia, but marta makes up a (fake) excuse to leave. fina is annoyed because this further proves how far apart they are. she wants marta to stay there with them, to relax, to have a drink. but she makes up an excuse to go and work. it annoys her because it proves her point to claudia that they can't quite meet at the point where they were before she went to argentina. they are disconnected. she even says at the end of the scene that she hopes they can get back on track soon. fian wasn't being a brat because marta was there. she was being a brat because marta put her walls back up, and decided to leave. rather than stay with them.
