When was the rule introduced that attackers must run in straight lines or a defender is permitted to foul them? Must have missed this ruling. Armstrong done what any forward is told, cut across the defender, because any contract is a foul. It's a foul and a second yellow.

So why not give a free kick to Hungary? Smacks of making up a scenario to fit the outcome…….

That’s nonsense. Armstrong knows the defender is going to come through the back of him hence his decision to shield the ball and as a result Orban takes him out in the process. It’s a stone wall penalty. Utter nonsense from Rosetti, covering up for each other.

I'm sure UEFA will now release the audio exchange between the officials as they have nothing to hide but they may not because it was a clear penalty.

They are lying. I was there. My eyes were glued to the referee not once did he put his had to his ear. Armstrong has every right to get in front of his man. Then contact was made by the Hungarian defender. They are just backing their ref. @EURO2024

Stone wall penalty just like Spain away. We were cheated.

If ‘instigating contact’ is no longer a foul, then Harry Kane will never ‘win’ another penalty in his career 😂😂

It was a debatable decision. "Seen them given" but it was nowhere near as clear-cut as many are imagining. Ultimately, Scotland are out because of a lack of imagination and too few players good enough for this stage.
