🚨 Khalistan is not just a demand—it’s the only path for Sikh survival. In Delhi, a school principal barred a Sikh student from wearing religious articles. This isn’t an isolated case—thousands of similar incidents have happened across India, including in Punjab itself. Sikhs sacrificed 90% of their lives for India’s independence Now that same India is systematically erasing Sikh identity. India doesn’t just hate Khalistan—it uses it as an excuse. The truth is: India hates each and every Sikh. whether they stand for Khalistan or salute the Indian flag. For Sikhs, India isn’t a homeland—it’s an existential threat. “Khalistan is the only solution for the survival, dignity, and future of Sikhs”

I congratulate the people of Punjab, particularly Sikhs, Sikh leadership, the Punjab government & Police for establishing Khalsa Raj in the state. Let's ignore the crying child; that is not important, we Punjabis have nothing to do with human sensibilities and common sense, as long as we are establishing Khalsa Raj.

#WATCH | Members of the Indian Sikh Community reject Pakistan's propaganda that Indian forces themselves attacked Gurudwaras in India. Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee President Harmeet Singh Kalka says, "...Pakistan is claiming to be a well-wisher of Sikhs...The people of the nation know that Pakistan is the enemy of the nation and of Punjab. The youth of Punjab have been ruined due to drugs...We cannot expect Pakistan to give statements on love and brotherhood. If they claim to be well-wishers of Sikhs, then they should tell that at the time of partition, there were 20 lakh Sikhs; today, there are only 8000 Sikhs in Pakistan. Most of them have been pressured to convert...They cannot mislead the Sikhs of the nation."

At a recent conference on transnational repression in Geneva, Bhai Moninder Singh reflected on the historical foundations of Sikh sovereignty, outlining how the Sikh political tradition evolved from the teachings of Guru Nanak and the martyrdom of Guru Arjan to the creation of the Khalsa by Guru Gobind Singh in 1699, which established a collective identity committed to justice, self-rule, and the principle of Raj. He emphasized that Sikh political aspirations today must be understood within this historical trajectory. The Sikh Confederacy and the period of Khalsa Raj demonstrated that Sikhs exercised sovereignty and maintained systems of governance prior to colonial intervention. In this context, he noted that the Sikh call for Khalistan is not about constructing a new political project, but about reclaiming a sovereignty that historically existed and was lost through colonial restructuring of the subcontinent and the later consolidation of the modern India. Understanding this distinction, he argued, is central to recognizing why many Sikhs frame their struggle not as secession, but as the restoration of a historical right to sovereignty.

Is this Canada? No, this is Punjab, India. These Khalistani Sikhs are stopping the police and openly saying the Gurudwara is Khalistani territory and police cannot enter to catch criminals. Punjab Police is silently watching while Khalistani Sikh slogans are raised. And people still say the Khalistan problem exists only on foreign land. The Government of India under Modi is on overdrive for Sikh appeasement, completely silent while Hindu minorities are beaten every day and India’s sovereignty is at stake.

In a surprising turn, the new Indian High Commissioner to Canada endorses Sikhs' right to a peaceful referendum. Is this a sign that the Indian government is aligning with global calls for a UN-led vote in Sikh-majority Punjab or is it another deceitful move by GOI? #khalistan

The Indian government need to smell the coffee. It is no coincidence the US Congress House Session on Friday 29 September started with a Sikh ‘prayer’ for the first time in history with a tribute to Sikh martyrs (Shaheeds). Despite all the lies, fake news and propaganda by the Indian government Sikhs in the Diaspora have an excellent reputation across the globe. Sikh teachings and the Sikh way of life are able to win the hearts and minds of the public, politicians and governments across the globe. Thanks to the robust stand taken by the Canadian government with the support of allies following the assassination by the Indian government of Hardeep Singh Nijjar nations now have an open mind on the global benefits of the re-establishment of a Sikh homeland.

PRO-KHALISTAN SLOGANS “WELCOME AMBASSADOR GOR — BUT PUNJAB IS NOT INDIA” PAINTED AT AMRITSAR AHEAD OF U.S. AMBASSADOR’S VISIT “Ambassador Gor, the message painted across Amritsar is very clear: PUNJAB IS NOT INDIA. The future of Punjab must be decided by the people of Punjab through the Khalistan Referendum — and we seek American support for this.” — Gurpatwant Singh Pannun General Counsel, Sikhs For Justice Ambassador Gor Urged to Visit Shaheedi Gallery to Know the History and Consequences of the Indian Army’s Invasion of Darbar Sahib Ahead of U.S. Ambassador Sergio Gor’s planned September 28 visit to Darbar Sahib, pro-Khalistan Sikhs have painted slogans at Amritsar Railway Station, Hall Gate and Bhandari Bridge, welcoming the American envoy with a direct message: “WELCOME AMBASSADOR GOR — BUT PUNJAB IS NOT INDIA.” “TRUMP–AMERICA — KHALISTAN ZINDABAD.” “PUNJAB HUL KHALISTAN.” “We urge Ambassador Gor to also visit the Shaheedi Gallery to know the history and consequences of the Indian Army’s invasion of Darbar Sahib,” said Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, General Counsel of Sikhs For Justice. The Shaheedi Gallery was constructed by the SGPC with the relentless efforts of Damdami Taksal Chief Baba Harnam Singh Khalsa to preserve the memory of the Sikh martyrs and tell the history of what happened at the very place Ambassador Gor will visit on September 28 — Darbar Sahib and Akal Takht Sahib during the June 1984 Indian Army invasion, the infamous Operation Blue Star, remembered by Sikhs as the Amritsar Genocide. Shaheed Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale and other Sikhs defended the sanctity of Akal Takht Sahib and attained martyrdom during the Indian Army assault. Akal Takht Sahib — the highest temporal seat of the Sikhs — was destroyed. More than 10,000 Sikh pilgrims, gathered at Darbar Sahib to commemorate the martyrdom of Guru Arjan Dev Ji, were massacred during the June 1984 assault. June 1984 laid the foundation for the present-day Khalistan movement — the struggle to liberate Punjab from Indian occupation and establish an independent Sikh homeland, Khalistan. The June 1984 attack was followed by the November 1984 Sikh Genocide, in which over 30,000 Sikhs were massacred across India. Sikhs then took up arms to defend their faith, their families and their homeland, beginning an armed struggle that continued through the mid-1990s. FROM BULLETS TO THE BALLOT Today, that struggle has moved from bullets to the ballot. The weapons of the 1990s armed struggle were AK-47s, rocket launchers and bullets. Today, the political weapon is the Khalistan Referendum ballot— a peaceful and democratic campaign for the liberation of Punjab from Indian occupation. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s regime, Sikhs in Punjab face an existential threat through three weapons: DRUGS. DEBT. DEMOGRAPHIC CHANGE. “Sikhs have the right to self-determination, and today we are exercising that right peacefully and democratically through the Khalistan Referendum,” Pannun said. The next Khalistan Referendum voting will take place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, on October 18.

Punjab Congress 2027 is not just about choosing a new #PPCC president. If the Congress could place its trust in Dr Manmohan Singh, a Sikh from a Khatri background, to lead India for ten years, why does the political conversation in Punjab so often return to the search for a Jat Sikh face? THE NUMBERS TELL A DIFFERENT STORY According to the 2011 Census, still the latest completed Census, Sikhs constitute 57.69% of Punjab’s population, while Hindus account for about 38.5%. Within this Sikh majority, Jat Sikhs are commonly estimated at around 21% of Punjab’s total population The question is not whether Punjab should or should not have Jat Sikh leadership. Nor is it an argument for replacing one caste formula with another. Watch my latest #PunjabDiNabz analysis on NDTV. full episode at :

In the film Maachis, the Punjabi Hindu character of Sanatan Kumar becomes symbol of shared loss. Hindus and Sikhs equally experienced grief and loss during the years of Punjab insurgency. What makes his character interesting is that as a Punjabi Hindu, he feels the pain of Sikh suffering because Sikhs are not outsiders for him. His grief is rooted in a shared Punjabi identity, where the suffering of Sikhs is not someone else's tragedy, it is the tragedy of his own people. Similarly, many Sikhs are deeply protective of Punjab's Hindus. They regard the Hindus of Punjab as their own. The suffering of Punjab's Hindus is not seen as someone else's tragedy, but as a shared loss that brings grief to the Sikh community as well.
