Vaulting content like this should be a crime. Destiny 2

Vaulting is the entire reason I quit the game. I’m not supporting any developer that removes content that I paid for. Shit people that ruined an entire franchise…

And using 'vaulting' instead of deleting, helped enable them to do it.

They should have just had a process in place to leave that stuff as offline (or friends can join and you host), with a seperate installer if the filesizes got too large. Vaulting is just deleting the content we paid for with lame excuses attached

This broke my trust on Bungie. Even if Marathon was an amazing game, I would not buy it for this reason. The studio being called Bungie now feels like stolen valor.

Get your grubby little grifting hands away from D2

Destiny 2 gameplay mechanics is probably the best out of any FPS i've ever played. But like any good franchise that attracts purple haired degenerate leftist, they put their hands on it and made it gay and retarded.

"Vaulting" It never came back.

It wasn't vaulted, it was full on removed. Vaulting implies that it would come back... but it didn't. At least that's just my read.

The original D2 was so much fun. Everything they did after live services switch is basically D3 and blows hard with the vaulting of entire prior campaigns. Worst part is that none of it is on the disk so you can't even play D2 anymore.

On an unrelated note, I always hated scenes like this in games, literally nothing is happening, it's fake action and it disgusts me.

this is why i quit. i bought warmind and they reversed the transaction by vaulting it im not paying for shit to be taken they set that this was a common practice so i quit entirely

The total destruction of the Destiny IP has to be right up there with Star Wars and Diablo. At what point do our memories, commitment, and love for these IPs start to carry more weight in the decisions that get made by execs via shareholders?

Yall had 5 years of letting them get away with this and now you wanna cry

annnnnnnd here comes grummz to talk about a 6/10 campaign he didnt play that he’s sooooooooo upset about losing

*nods insane that this was just deleted. As if that was some how going to make any kind of financial sense. CEO needed to be fired on the spot by any company stake holders when this happened.

Honestly the biggest reason I dropped Destiny 2 completely, the second i found out that they were starting to delete paid content i dropped the game entirely and went back to destiny 1

Removing content AFTER you already bought the game should be illegal. "It's an Online Live Service Game" should not be an excuse.

"Vaulting" certainly has an uncanny resemblance to outright theft, that's for sure.

Saber Interactive is cleaning house at its studio, if you look up who Stella Sacco is, you'll understand.

They should just release a PC dump that lets you run it all offline, server and all.

YOU STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM HER

Don't worry buddy you never played any of it

Bro threw out that emote and I'm like THATS MY BOI

The amazing red war and I still maintain that what started the death of destiny was them choosing to steal content we paid for

The whole Red War, Warmind, Forsaken. Bloody disgrace, deleting content we paid for.

Especially if they’re done with the game

Wonder could there be class action lawsuit over removed content or get steam refund like one person did with was it COD

Bro stop larping and got off destiny

LARPER

Fuck off. You don’t get to speak on Destiny.

i REALLY hate this kind of effects around the screen

If they would just give us offline single-player version of Destiny 2, I would buy it immediately at full price. They are throwing money away.

@Solus_YT

Holy larp
