It happened again. This time in the middle of my drive. Screens turned off and I expected them to turn back on but they never did… Here’s a longer video for those curious. Yes I did a full reset (just like last time) but nada. Not sure if this is a vehicle hardware issue or software related issue (or something else) Regardless, I would like to show people my real experience this will be last time I post about this 😂

🗣️: Tofu has already returned to the stars. Lingling: Ever since I moved to Thailand, my mom saw how lonely I was on my own, so she got Tofu to keep me company. We grew up together. As Tofu got older, one day my mom called me and said, "Tofu can't hold on much longer; she is about to leave us." During that time, my work was incredibly busy, and I could barely squeeze out any time at all. But I desperately wanted to rush back to see her one last time. So I asked my mom to gently whisper in Tofu's ear, "Can you wait a little bit for P’Ling?" The moment my work ended, I immediately caught a flight back. The very next morning, I flew right back to continue working. In the end, I made it in time to hold Tofu one last time. That was the first time in my life experiencing the loss of such an important family member, and it was the first time I ever cried that hard. This experience taught me one thing: I don't want anyone to ever have to say in the future, "If I had known things would turn out this way, I definitely would have done something." If you want to take care of the important people around you, do it now. Don't wait. Now Tofu has gone to a place free of pain, and I tell myself this every single day. I'm looking forward to the next hill while resting for a while, although it's not really a rest. I'm so happy to be able to make another memory with Carat like this. So, I think I will be able to come back well. I prepared a song, I will sing while Coups is crying. I will sing you Leftover. I had fun making this song while writing it together with Woozi and Bumzu hyung and I'm so happy to be able to sing it for you guys. It's really the last time, you know? But before I do, I want to say something to every person who has overcome addiction - and to those who are still fighting it. This is a safe place for you. I don’t care what color you are, where you come from, or what your past looks like. If you’re trying to turn your life around, I’m rooting for you. God’s grace is bigger than your worst mistake, and your past does not have to define your future. Don’t let people shame you. Ever.

This piece is 4 years old, and in artist years, that feels like a lifetime. So much can change in that time. Your style, your skill, your perspective. I usually have a hard time looking at my older work, especially anything more than a year old. I tend to focus on all the things I could’ve done better. But this one hits differently. It’s like that one song you used to listen nonstop during a specific time in your life. Every time you hear it, it instantly takes you back. Super nostalgic. That’s what this piece does for me. It reminds me of the younger DeeKay: full of curiosity, obsessed with the craft, completely immersed in the joy of creating. I’m still that person, but with a lot more responsibilities now. That purity I felt back then, I don’t ever want to lose it. I want to keep making art that moves people. I want to stay playful. I don’t want to grow up.
