Why make life so much more complicated for yourselves—and for the animals—when you could focus directly on what truly matters? The goal doesn’t have to be turning everyone into vegans, which would be far more difficult. Instead, we could all agree on something much simpler and more universal: that we do not want unnecessary violence or cruelty toward animals. This is, in my view, one of the recurring problems with parts of the political left and certain activist movements: they often become chaotic and pursue goals in ways that fail to solve the core issue. Instead of building broad support, they end up creating unnecessary division and conflict, sometimes causing more harm than good.
