🦖 Velociraptor Origami Tutorial 1. Start with a square paper. Place it color side up (if it’s single-sided). Fold in half diagonally both ways, unfold, so you get an “X” crease. 2. Fold into a preliminary base. Bring the paper into a square base (also known as the waterbomb base). 3. Shape the body. Fold one flap upward to create the neck and head. Fold the opposite flap backward for the tail. 4. Make the legs. From the two lower flaps, fold them down and shape them to form the raptor’s legs. You can fold small zig-zags at the end to create feet. 5. Shape the head. Fold the neck tip down to make the raptor’s head. Pinch fold for the mouth/snout shape. 6. Add arms. From the body, make small folds on each side to represent the raptor’s claws. 7. Final shaping. Adjust angles so the raptor can stand. Sharpen creases for definition.

It looks so easy in the video, but after trying it myself, I realized it’s actually very hard and requires a lot of precision 🙄

Velociraptors were covered in feathers and were closer in appearance to modern birds than the scaly reptiles often shown in movies.
