Venator IV: "What shield?"

Tbh that’s how it should be. Blue weapon should absolutely crush a grey one. If anything greys should be nerfed not the venator. Otherwise what’s the point of spending resources on blue/purple weapons if a stitcher can destroy you.

I'm more showcasing my TTK, it was 5 shots in literally less than a second on blue shields and full health. You don't outplay that unless you also have a Ven or maybe a Torrente. There's a reason every player in night raids has one of these right now.

Been playing the game since day 2. I get into a lot of fights, usually reactively. I can tell you this, I’ve never ever gotten attacked by someone who isn’t on free loadout in solo. It’s free loadout 100% of the time in my experience. Most don’t wanna pvp with expensive stuff.

We must being playing different games then, bc night raids and electro storms are KOS full of kitted players. I have a 130 hours, so maybe I'm getting gear based matches, but my raids are always slaughter.

It must be geared based then, yes. Cause I'm telling you I never and I mean ever, fought someone who isnt on free loadout in my 75 hours. Mostly Night. I often wonder where the heck are all those blue and purple weapons didnt see anyone carrying one not in a single match.

Yeah so the game clearly prioritizes gear based matchmaking. Like I was saying I only carry green/grey so that’s all I see. I can’t get myself to wear better gear since I can win most my fights with cheap greys.

Not always though, bc in that video I was running the Stitcher IV and Anvil I just to do a little budget run, then this dude clapped me with a Venny IV. So who knows how it works.

Shields are damage mittigation not an extra pool of health.

As much as I'm loving this game there are some things that have to go and as cool as the venator is, that's one of em😢

I think a fire rate nerf would make the gun pretty boring to use, so maybe they can tone down the damage a bit. Something has to change though bc it's straight misery fighting against that.

@itsSoupDogg Think they should just cut the mag in half and remove the extended attachment. Would still keep the insane damage as a niche finisher and falls in line with the “fires two rounds” lore. Everyone downstairs in blue gate is already running two at a time anyways 😂

@AbneyDude maybe replace the magazine slot with a barrel attachment slot? would be cool to run a venator with a suppressor, maybe a tech slot if not a barrel attachment?

Lets clear something that is happening in every pvp multiplayer game. DESYNC. In this clip it seems like the enemy starts shooting way later than you so for your POV it looks like you are getting one tapped, in reality the enemy started shooting way faster

I really think the ven needs a need to it’s fire rate personally

shield is just reducing damage it's not a real shield, that's why it's better to heal your life before shielding again

The gun must have been balanced forgetting that it shoots two bullets at once

i put all 15 rounds from a stitcher into a guy who was looting a body, he lived and then venator 2 shot me

You broke his shield & he is more than likely 1 hp as well. Rolling right after doing a ton of dmg with the stitcher there, then rolling back or playing a different angle wins this for you. There’s so many ways to take a fight than just 1:1 firing at each other’s gun matchup

The venator is crazy i get shot first but i win anyway, i had two fights back to back yesterday and melted through them in one mag

Some things to consider. This guy could’ve easily had a medium to heavy shield. Plus a blue medium pen weapon vs grey light pen . Not to mention what levels both guns were. Only thing that matters is you lost the fight so load up again and get that get back on someone else lol🤙

Imo that thing is the only problem with this game tier 4 giving 66% FR is a little too much I don't mind the dmg just putting out that much dmg faster than a stitcher or bobcat big dumb
