Standing amid the wreckage, hospital director Raed Hussein told Drop Site contributor Abdel Qader Sabbah that the attack would have a “direct impact” on dialysis care and could force the hospital to halt treatment unless replacement supplies are secured. “The damage is even greater, the disaster is even more severe, and it will make it much harder for us to respond in the coming period,” Hussein said. Dr. Mounir al-Bursh, director general of Gaza’s Health Ministry, told Al Jazeera Arabic that the warehouses held the ministry’s strategic medical stockpile and that the strike destroyed large quantities of medicines and supplies.
