I can search a database with 32 million records in less than 50 milliseconds. This speed is insane! There's no reason your search is slow. There's no reason you aren't using this library when building applications with a lot of data. Take a look at typesense |. It's an open-source search engine. It's crazy fast and easy to use. we're working on a new photo search engine called Angles. it's focused on doing one thing well: finding photos + videos by visual similarity. here is raw, unedited footage of me going through my 80,000 photo camera roll *in realtime* with text-to-image search, image-to-image search, "find similar" inside of a photo, and "live search" with the camera. all done with local models and completely private. auto-growing albums coming soon :-) Angles has been exceptionally useful for my friends who do creative work. when words fail to describe what you are looking for, you can simply tap on any asset and instantly see everything else like it across your entire library. we're in early beta - if you want access please send a DM to Patina Systems with your testflight email! i have spots available for another 50 people

✨ I made a little demo of #vibejam sponsor Tripo and how you can use it to generate assets for your games In this case I'm generating an apartment flat that's half destroyed and open for my drone sim to fly around, take cover and shoot at enemies from First I write the prompt and select Nano Banana to generate an image first, I get a few different ones, and I select the one I like Then that one is converted into a 3d object called a Smart Mesh Smart Mesh is different than regular image-to-3d models because usually you get issues with uneven polygon distribution, too dense geometry and poor edge flow, so while you think you save time with generating it with AI you end up doing lots of editing after to fix the topology which kinda defeats the point Smart Mesh doesn't have any of this, it's fast and clean low-poly models you can drop into your game Anyway, after generating the model I can then see it in 3d, and if I don't like it, regenerate it, or if I like it start texturing it Once that's done, I export it as a GLB, FBX or OBJ and drop it in (usually I use GLB as ThreeJS seems to prefer that), in my case I just drop the URL into Cursor and let it figure out the placement of the asset into my game!

ALRIGHT! Introducing SEEDTHREE! A Three.js webgpu procedural plant generator. I'm releasing this fully open source. I built this with Claude Fable and GPT-5.5 Codex + gptimage2 over just the past few days. The best part is: given the code, your agents can add new plants to it all you want! They just need an understanding of the code and an image generator capable of creating material maps. I highly encourage you to do PRs for any extra plants you add! I'll be adding more myself in future versions. The system is fully robust: it provides complete LOD and billboards/imposters generation for the plants and you can adjust the detail levels all you want for different platform targets like mobile and/or use lower LODs as your main for extreme optimization. As this is the first release alpha version, some bugs may have been missed, I encourage you to report any bugs. The repo includes all the assets for the scenery world too, even the ambient sounds of birds and wind! This is targeted at high end laptop and PC use, it requires baking generated geometry, so you won't be using this on a phone (I mean, feel free to try, but I doubt it'll run well, lol). With all the buzz around the Codex App, OpenAI Developers quietly snuck out a new CLI update (0.94.0) as well. And boy is it an important update! Codex Plan mode is now officially released to the general audience! I am very excited about this one as it has a really strong prompt that is unlike any other plan mode I've personally used. Codex Plan mode doesn't necessarily just ask you 3 questions up front. It goes, collects context, asks questions, collects more context, asks more questions (sometimes), and then writes an incredibly high quality plan. It is my favorite implementation of plan mode thus far. It also comes with Codex's own version of "AskUserQuestion!" Although, it only works in Plan mode for now. With Apple’s Machine Learning, you can literally transform any of your old photos into spatial 3D experiences—and it just works. If you haven't tried this out yet with your own memories this will be hard for you to understand. But combined with music, this actually feels like time travelling and completely redefines the way you relive past memories. Honestly, this feature alone would be worth $2K to me.
