You fail to mention that Israel withdrew from the Gaza Strip in 2005. This paved the way for the creation of a Palestinian State. Instead, the Gazans chose Hamas. Hamas chose to terrorize Israel - shooting rockets at Sderot almost daily.

That doesn’t justify Hamas, but it does explain how rage, desperation, and violence became inevitable under apartheid-like conditions. This is cause and effect.
