"One of the very confusing things about the models right now: how to reconcile the fact that they are doing so well on evals. And you look at the evals and you go, 'Those are pretty hard evals.' But the economic impact seems to be dramatically behind. There is [a possible] explanation. Back when people were doing pre-training, the question of what data to train on was answered, because that answer was everything. So you don't have to think if it's going to be this data or that data. When people do RL training, they say, 'Okay, we want to have this kind of RL training for this thing and that kind of RL training for that thing.' You say, 'Hey, I would love our model to do really well when we release it. I want the evals to look great. What would be RL training that could help on this task?' We're not gonna drain the Great Salt Lake. That's ridiculous. We are gonna create incremental jobs. This is not gonna destroy air quality because we don't have the option to do that. That's controlled both state and federally, and we don't want to do that. That's not what we wanna do. I want this to be the example of what we can do all across the country. This is not going to be my only project. But in order to do that, we have to prove it, and we're not building 40,000 acres of data centers. That's the size of the land parcel. So saying it’s twice the size of Manhattan is ridiculous. We're building very slowly and incrementally, and everybody around us nationally and internationally can see what we're doing. It'll be totally transparent, and we want it to be the shining example of how you do this.

Trump on eliminating the Filibuster… He might just be giving you the playbook on how the rest of this plan gets rolled out… “I am totally in favor of terminating the filibuster, and we would be back to work within 10 minutes after that vote took place, and lots of other good things would happen. Here's some of the things that we'd pass if we terminated the filibuster, voter ID, no mail in, voting, no cash bail, no men and women's sports, no welfare for illegals. You could go on and on.
