Lol, amazing how all these demonstrations rely on one slow, telegraphed punch, and then a perfectly still, non resisting interaction. If you're fighting a mannequin, that's a perfect technique.

Don't agree w comments here. 3 mins of research on Silat training you can see how controlled+mental these moves are. MOST criminals intent on doing damage hold zero control.. the moves of a controlled, AWARE person could take down someone twice their size without much effort.

The reason Jiu Jitsu is so effective is that it doesn’t require a compliant partner to work. You roll in Jiu Jitsu with a fully resisting opponent and work from there.
