RIGHT!?!? It's wild man. I bought that P90 used and it came with that thing. I was so confused but now I just use it to upset people.

I went to my local range the other day and someone had an AR but the upper had a cutout in the handguard to take p90 mags and the regular AR mag is where it ejected the casings. That thing was pretty damn cool
