The IDF announces that its 162nd Division has completed preparations ahead of deployment in southern Lebanon. The military says the division is ready to "receive orders in accordance with the situational assessment." If the 162nd is deployed, it would bring the total number of IDF divisions operating in southern Lebanon to five. Currently, the 146th division is deployed to the western sector of southern Lebanon; the 91st and 36th are operating in the eastern sector; and the 210th is stationed in the Mount Dov area.
