Very visual example of target priorities. We are entering robot war. Robots could be built in big quantities relatively easy. Human resources are very limited on the other hand. So that's why Russian drone pilot decides to target this car, instead of unmanned ground vehicle.

BREAKING: The death toll from this morning’s drone explosion on a beach in Gelendzhik, Russia has increased to 7, including 3 children. 40+ are wounded. Russian mobile fire teams shot down the Ukrainian drone as it was on its way to strike the Rassvet recreation base, which belongs to NPO Mashinostroeniya, a major Russian defense contractor building cruise missiles and other weapons for the Russian military. The drone fell 300 meters short of its target and hit a crowded public beach instead, killing 7 civilians. Putin’s decision to invade Ukraine continues to claim Russian lives.

Americans are not ready to watch sons and daughters hunted by FPV drones. Some may not like this post, and that’s OK. Some may see this as being a “panican,” and that is also OK. My tolerance for American blood being spilled is very, very low. But this needs to be said: If you have paid any attention to the war in Ukraine, you will know how drone warfare has escalated. You will have an understanding of the sophistication of the Ukrainians and Russians in their pursuit of hunting and killing each other with human-guided robots strapped with explosives. We know Russia and Iran share military ties; hell, the most common form of long-range standoff munition used to target Ukrainian infrastructure is an Iranian-designed Shahed drone. Now, are the Iranians as sophisticated as the Russians? No. But will a ground action result in grainy videos of Americans being hit by FPV drones? Almost certainly. Could the deployment of ground forces to the Gulf be a feint? Sure, it could be, but this point extends beyond Iran. The U.S. needs to be ready to counter the drone menace. I won’t pretend to know the inner machinations of the Joint Chiefs, the White House, or President Trump, but with the destruction of an E-3 Sentry on the runway, it has become absolutely clear the U.S. armed forces have not scaled their ability to handle drones. I don’t know what the answer here is, but I haven’t seen this point brought up at the frequency it deserves. It needs to be said. We are not ready for footage of American soldiers and Marines cowering in their last moments, set to some upbeat pop song or some cleric screaming praises to Allah.

Force feedback demo Force feedback is when joystick is pushing on your hand when something is pushing on the robot arm. Feeling the force - so much helpful to control the robot, that done well it allows you to do tasks even without visual feed. You can make an experiment: close your eyes - you can easily get the headphones out of the case. Also, visual information is often not enough. For example, you're trying to pull out a usb connector, but you pull it at the wrong angle, causing it to get stuck. Visually, nothing changes, but the pressure is intense and you can break the connector. Surgical robots have been using force feedback for years, and there are also 3D styluses which use this feature, proving that the technology works and is useful. But in modern robots with AI, it's hardly ever implemented. Although it's useful for both teleoperation and AI model. That's one of the reasons why we are building our robotic arms starting with off the shelf motors rather than taking the whole off the shelf arm. There are still a range of easy wins that can be made iterating robot hardware.

Do your divots point left of your target all the time? If so... they SHOULD! Have a look at this shot from Shane Lowry at the Ryder Cup. My green arrow is the target & my red arrows are where his divot is pointing. This is perfectly normal If your divots point at the target or right of your target, it means your swing path could be excessively in to out which can produce blocks & hooks Now obviously an excessive out to in path could produce a divot that is excessively left of target for sure, but for a fairly straight shot, it's perfectly normal for your divot to point slightly left of target
