Very worthwhile discussion between former CIA Spies Andrew Bustamente & John Kiriakou. Check out this fun anecdote of how "mid-level nobody" John Brennan went from being fired to CIA Director. "the most talented people leave"

Why can't we have nice things?

For those wondering, I'm definitely more in John Kiriakou's camp than in Bustamante's. I find Andrew borderline sociopathic.

“One of the things that surprised me when I was in Hong Kong the other day was how few places would take Visa or Mastercard, and the way it was explained made perfect sense. They have their own system, they have their own cards, so that they can’t get sanctioned, and the transactions don't have go through New York. They go through Shanghai.” John Kiriakou

Amazing. I'd never heard this story before.

Unfortunately, we all know a John Brennan.

Thanks for sharing this.

So far this has been really eye-opening!!!! Holy cow, there's a lot of saying the quiet parts out loud.

I'm about halfway thru

This is exactly the way the military works. We have admirals and generals who couldn't fight their way out of a trash bag. The next high intensity conflict we fight. We will kill 10s of thousands of our kids needlessly. I suspect we will lose first before the blob adapts.

Brennan is a fool
