Just saw this video on the WCNC page with footage from 9/11 at the Charlotte Airport. If I had to guess - this was filmed sometime after noon. People had spread out across the airport by then just to find chairs that were open. By the end of the afternoon/early evening - there were cots brought in by the Red Cross and set up throughout the airport. Also interesting is the announcement the gate agent makes - "we do have a ground hold until 6 o'clock this evening." It really shows that we didn't understand the scale and gravity of what had happened yet and thought normal operations might resume by the end of the day. Obviously that never happened... #September11th #history #charlotte

Visited the Udaan Yatri café at Mumbai Airport and had chai for just ₹10. Was flying to Delhi and wanted chai before the flight. Spoke to several travellers while I was there. All of them happy, all of them saying the same thing: Easy on the pocket, good service, value for money. Affordable airport food is possible. And this is proof☕ ✈️

The problem is to amplify a small story and make it as if it’s everything about the airport.
