It’s too high… I hope that area is safe too because armed robbers might turn it to another location to wait for cars to slow down

Speed breaks on a dual carriage way? Are there signs to let motorists know those breakers exist? There should be the speed breakers signs.

What is happening to us as a nation? Why would a private citizen decide to build a road demarcations on a federal highway? Without informing or seeking permission from any government agency?? This is the hight of it!

"There was a country" indeed. Highways are constructed as freeway for a purpose. Yes, that speed breaker might save one or two pedestrian life, but it will cost more motorist life and vehicle damage.

Embarrassing!!!😱 Proof again that Nigeria runs on vibes, goodwill, and influencers instead of functioning institutions. I honestly don’t know where this guy bought his audacity from. His followers are quick to call Nigeria a zoo, yet here he is playing highway engineer, who gave him permission to build not 1, not 2, but 9 speed breakers on a federal road? Did he contest in an election we all missed, or is this just another round of clout-chasing for likes and clicks? Hmm… let’s hear from the actual government the people supposedly voted in to do this job.

If this is how to chase clout then our politicians should start chasing clout

It's just the right place for armed groups to gather at night to attack and rob people at night.

The Nigeria celebrities just want to turn this country to anything goes, they are not following protocol again, they are behaving everyday as if they are bigger than the government.

A private citizen installing speed bumps on a federal highway, because he has a high social media following. Nigeria is not a normal place! We’re moving mad in this country.

We are a very emotional people, where we should be logical. Did he consider the kind of accidents those bumps can cause, especially at night?

Good intentions and good deeds should be accustomed by proper advice. My heart goes out to this guy because there are so many laws that the government can decide to use to nab him for this action.

I hope this dude will not cause significant unintended consequences. He should know that he will be found liable. Is there any sign to warn motorists of a speed bump?

While it was with good intentions, unfortunately, regular citizens can not build speed breakers on roads in Nigeria, Unauthorized construction of speed breakers by individuals is illegal and creates safety hazards, except he was authorized by FERMA.

Sabinus is building road, VDM is building speed bumps… maybe we really should elect influencers. For those questioning “on whose authority”, look at the state of a federal highway! Na now una know authority…

WHY TINUBU? with SEYILAW: Roads and Real Progress For some, the phrase “na road we go chop” is tossed around casually, as if road infrastructure were a luxury rather than a necessity. But this is not ignorance. It is a dangerous dismissal of the role of roads play in development, economic empowerment, and the security of our people. I speak not from hearsay but from lived experience, and I invite you to fact-check me yourself. For the first time in many years, Nigeria is witnessing an unprecedented wave of road construction projects. No administration before President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s has embarked on repairs and new builds at this scale. Across the country, the evidence is visible: - Southwest & South-South: - Shagamu–Benin Expressway - Ore–Akure Road - Akure–Ado Road - Benin–Sapele–Warri route - Benin–Asaba Road Ibadan - Akure road - Southeast & South-South: - Port Harcourt–Enugu Road - Benue–Enugu Road - East–West Road (Port Harcourt–Warri section, ~75% complete) - Enugu–Onitsha Expressway (~60% complete) - Benin–Auchi–Okene Road (~55% complete) - Newly built Eke Obinagu Flyover, Enugu Ebony - Calabar - Abuja road. Bonny - Port Harcourt Road - Southwest: - Lagos–Ibadan Expressway (~90% complete) - Ilorin–Jebba–Mokwa Road (~81% complete) - Oyo–Ogbomosho Road - North & Middle Belt: - Abuja–Lokoja Road (~65% complete) - Abuja–Keffi–Akwanga–Lafia–Makurdi Road (~70% complete) - Kano–Maiduguri Expressway (remaining sections ~70% complete) And yes, I deliberately left out the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway and the Sokoto–Badagry Highway—because even without them, the scale of ongoing work is staggering. I also refused to mention the level of roads done in Abuja by Minister Nyesom Wike. This is not about emotions or partisan loyalty. It is about facts on the ground. The roads are being built, repaired, and completed. So before you dismiss the progress as a side issue, please counter with real evidence. Thank you. SEYILAW #WHYTINUBU #SEYILAW #TINUBU2027
