The real unlock isn't Claude writing the code, it's having a tight enough feedback loop that it can actually verify what it built works. Most people skip that part and wonder why the output is garbage.

I gave Claude Opus 5.5 the original 1982 Gremlins screenplay and access to Invideo's new MCP and told it to make a trailer for the film using only the screenplay. No existing references from Joe Dante's films were permitted. Claude designed the creatures from the script's descriptions, then wrote, generated, scored, and cut this trailer on its own using Invideo. I provided no creative input beyond the initial prompt, which told it to make it look like it was from 1984 and use practical creature effects. What do you think? How'd it do?

It figured out how to draft an order with a PDF of the letter it wrote to me – then it used Stripe’s Purl cli and paid for the order using Stripe's new Machine Payments protocol. This is a huge step forward for real-world agentic task completion and commerce
