notice how the guy keeps saying "do it the other way" Instead of saying "perpendicular to the length of the sandwhich, point the serrated edge of the blade down. Hold the sandwich in place, and make a sawing motion with slight downward pressure using the blade." This process sounds tedious and dumb for something as simple as making a sandwhich, but is crucial when working with complex logic flows and algorithms. I feel like the gap now is not having LLMs understand your intentions rather than a lack of raw intelligence.

at the end of the day, it’s just bad prompt engineering.

pretty accurate and then you never get the sando because you used all your edits for your cycle. I laughed when the knife went upside down.

So painful to watch, it felt like 63 seconds rather than 15...

Vibe coding is for people with no coding or programming knowledge but people who do, and can write clear instructions on prompt and exact directives it works well

I shared a video i found on Insta and everyone lost their mind. If this isn’t X then what it is? Also, as per x algo, the money will go to original creator if he had posted it on x. I didn’t claim that I created the video, the guy in the video is the creator. Anyway i don’t care if you can’t take this share for what it is. I hope you got the answer

@ThePrimeagen @nikitabier You gotta give credit in the OP, that's all.

@ThePrimeagen @nikitabier When the creator is in the video isn't it obvious), does it need credit? when people post movie clips, do they give credit to movie actor on x?

Vibe coding is 10% coding and 90% arguing with AI

The whole idea of a single prompt that will generate meaningful unique results is laughable!

😆 You forgot when it just throws the whole thing away because it wasn't working perfectly.

I'm convinced it's intentional, like dating apps, because low-grade sabotage over a prolonged period means they have an infinite money glitch until someone catches on and releases an equal but fair system.

Reminds me of when I worked with Indian coders before vibe coding existed

Yea and now those Indian coders running American companies

15 out of 1.5 billion is not statistically relevant

Not 15, count again. You will find at-least millions of us working top posts in American companies. A bad coder isn’t a country thing, I am sure America is full of bad coders too.

Eventually there will be a dialect of English for working with LLMs that has a well specified type system to define objects like this sandwich Or maybe even a large library of object definitions that can be imported into a project

This is so true. Should I feel bad that sometimes it drives me to swearing profusely at my AI agent? Because part of me feels bad and the other part of me is like, it's justified. It's like an idiot savant and the idiot part can be incredibly frustrating

Every day, every (supposedly) 5 minute task. The last one lasted hours and GPT told me I was the best programmer alive and asked me if I wanted me to meet it's family. I've never programmed in my life.

Saw a lot of people saying it's due to bad prompt, naah mate when the complexity goes up this happens all the time. And I am not talking about something really complex. Example: TRY, A book flipping carousel which shows half picture on the left page and the other half on right.
