There is an equal (or greater) chance that the October Surprise backfires and angers America so badly it goes straight for Iran's throat. America was obsessively neutral and isolationist until the Germans, and later the Japanese, gave the sitting presidents a chance to swing into a war-winning anger and full participation. Statement suggestion: The military phase of this campaign has done what it was sent to do. Iran’s navy is broken. Its missile and drone industry has been smashed. Its ability to hide a nuclear weapons program has been set back. American forces will not keep launching preemptive offensive strikes as a substitute for a political end. Here is the plan. After the election, the United States will halt preemptive offensive operations against Iran and lift the Strait blockade. We will keep the forces required to defend our troops, our partners, and commercial shipping. We will intercept attacks. We will answer attacks. We will not start the next round. The next shot belongs to Iran — and to the groups that fight for it. A Houthi strike on a tanker, a militia drone on an American base, or a Hezbollah barrage that blows up a cease-fire will count as Iran’s choice to restart the war. Denials will not reset the clock. There will be no sanctions windfall, no release of frozen funds, and no reconstruction money until time has passed and conditions can be verified: a defined period of quiet in the Strait and against our forces and partners, and real inspections of what remains of the nuclear program. Cash comes last. Snapback is automatic if the quiet breaks. This is not a gift to Tehran. It is a test. If Iran wants the shooting to stop and its oil to move, it can keep its proxies on a leash and open the sites. If it will not, the United States will not have been the side that went first. We will not run an endless war on a campaign calendar. We will not pay Iran to behave. We will put the choice where it belongs — on the regime that started this fight and the militias that still fire when it is convenient. Thoughts?

Kamala Harris did recently say to her base "Whatever it takes" for Democrats to win and then repeated it. - quite disturbing and disgusting. To have a past VP that would even wish to bring down our country rather than build it up - only for power - is astonishing. Those that keep friendly to Kamala, Biden, and Obama and yet turn their backs on agreement to do anything good President Trump is doing or trying to do should be ashamed, but they are not because their power and jealousy appears to have overcome any common sense.
