Perhaps the question should be asked is are children with mental illnesses, those that lack resilience or other issues attracted to having trans identities, rather than proceeding from the assumption that their mental health issues arise because their trans identity isn’t accepted And does peddling gender identity to children as young as 5 (as the Victorian government does) exacerbate these mental health problems?
