With the attacks by Hamas in Israel, a lot of people are spreading misinformation alleging that the US gave Iran $6 billion and that this money is the cause for the escalation. This is simply an outright lie. - Yes, Iran has supported Hamas, and Hamas obtained a lot of weapons from Iran. - No, the US did NOT give Iran $6 billion, and it certainly did not end up in the hands of terrorists. What really happened with the $6 billion. - The US unfroze $6 billion in Iranian money (Not US money or US taxpayer dollars). It was Iran’s money that was in South Korean bank accounts. The money came from oil sales that were put into accounts that were set up under the Trump administration. - The US allowed the money to be transferred to accounts in Qatar, without violating sanctions, in exchange for 5 US citizens getting to come home to their families. - The US has strict limits on how the money can be used, and it is NOT under the complete control of the Iranian government. The money is only permitted to be taken out in exchange for humanitarian purchase such as food, medicine, and farm supplies. The US still has the ability to freeze the money if any rules are broken and they can validate where every dollar that is withdrawn ends up going. Those are the facts.

As a Trump supporter since day one, my moral is at an all-time low during Trump's second term. There is no end in sight to this war which looks like a war against the The American people. Citizens are being bled dry at the gas pump and grocery store. Housing prices, property taxes and homeowners insurance are crushing American families. Illegal aliens are competing for homes driving up rent and housing prices. Keep in mind this was after Trump claimed to have utterly destroyed Iran's decades old nuclear program in the 12 Day War that they are claiming has been going on for 47 years. We have lost this unnecessary war of aggression. The only reason the war is continuing is because Netanyahu want's it to and Trump is trying desperately to save face as American soldiers die and taxpayer dollars are wasted. The National Debt is now higher than the GPD of America, thanks to Trump and the Republicans, spending even more than the Democrats. Trump was supposed to reign in wasteful spending, instead he told the Democrats to hold his beer as he spent us into poverty. Trump’s disapproval rating has hit a record high of 62%! Republicans are even less popular than Trump. Trump's plummeting approval rating basically ensures the Democrats will win big in the Midterms. It appears that Trump was always a Deep State operative. He played the part of a populist and now that he doesn't need us, he has revealed his true colors. MAGA is now MIGA and he was never America First. Am I wrong?

If the MOU is really just about calming energy markets, rebuilding reserves, and buying political breathing room before deciding whether to strike again later, why would Iran trust any of it? And if Tehran believes another round of bombing is simply being delayed until conditions are more favourable for Washington, why would it make life easier for Trump in the meantime? While Washington is trying to convince the world it negotiated from strength, Schiff thinks the opposite happened.
