Unlike Doug Ford, Danielle Smith is not threatening to cut off Alberta energy from America, over the threat of 25% tariffs proposed by Donald Trump. Instead Danielle Smith says she will secure the border.

Do you even realize the great deal you could get for Alberta, you could negotiate a custom deal even better than Texas did when it joined the union.

I would be okay with random checks of vehicles heading in and out of province in an east /west direction also

I’m glad she’s not going along with Doug Ford and the Others. They’re crooked and they will fall. As Ezra said, they won’t direct their efforts towards the illegal Immigration and the associated criminality and drugs, but are unwisely posturing for a trade war.

I wish Alberta would just rid of the RCMP and go with Sherriff unit. This is one of the better safety movements Alberta has made.

I am so grateful to have @ABDanielleSmith as our leader in Alberta. Fake conservatives, like Doug Ford & his threat to the US are going to screw 🇨🇦. Short & long term. Doug is no better than JT or Jagmeet. All traitors to the Canadian people. Instead of doing what was not only asked by DJT but also have been demanded (only to fall on deaf ears) by the citizens. Secure the borders, stop Fentanyl from coming & going. Yet what do the Liberals, NDP & Doug do? Say they are going to war with DJT, Jag even wanted a designated “war room”. Hope there are none of those “evil old white men” or Jagmeet might spout more racist garbage. Thank you Mrs Smith for being a true Leader. The work that you have already done is amazing and thank you for being one of the few adults in the room when it comes to Canadian politics & the wellbeing of not just our Province, but the entire Country as a whole. How these puppets can live with themselves after all the destruction they have & are causing is beyond me. I have never been more grateful to be an Albertan than I am today! Good for @ABDanielleSmith. Our Prime Minister is useless but thanks for addressing the concerns of the Trump administration and quite frankly Canadian concerns that Trudeau ignored.
