For the first time in my life I am beginning to understand why Tamilians have been pissed about this. Why should they need to learn a language to communicate with Hindi belt when the Hindi belt refuses to learn the common language they all know.

I am a proud Indian from the South and I am not a Dravidian. I can speak 6 languages including 2 foreign languages. I am proud to have learnt Hindi in my curriculum which has helped me to bridge the cultural gap with my fellow North Indian friends unlike what you guys are doing.

Except for DMK, nobody agrees. Karnataka ! We have studied all 3 languages and done well. Tamilians loose outside of TN. DMK wants Tamilians to be deer in headlights
